Simply Q Nail Spa

It hasn’t even been two weeks since I got my acrylics done, and they are legitimately flaking and breaking off. The nails are already starting to pull off on their own and even while washing my hair. I have never had this happen with my acrylics before after years of getting them, and I can’t say my experience was great either. The lines for the French tips are uneven, the acrylic itself is lumpy and different on every finger, and it seemed as if everything was very rushed in general. They also said at the beginning that they had student discount, which is actually only for high schoolers, which they decided to disclose at the end of the appointment. I have gotten pedicures here before and have had no problems, but this is absolutely outrageous for having them done for 13 days. I paid around 85 dollars with tip, and I honestly don’t think that this was worth my time or money. Go somewhere else.

I took myself and 2 daughters for pedicures yesterday and the whole staff was friendly and talented. Kate especially knocked it out of the park with her attentiveness and nail designs/art on our toes. We all left thrilled with our results.

I’ve only used this salon in emergency “I need this off NOW” situations and I ALWAYS REGRET IT. Mostly recently I had gel removed and they managed to still screw it up. Filed my nail so much my finger bled. Actually filed my nails unevenly, which I’ve never seen. They were crooked! Not to mention the general condition of the salon. Don’t look too closely at the floor or other cleanliness details. Won’t ever be returning, even in an emergency!

Kate just did a FANTASTIC job on my nails!!! I have finally found a talented artist who can do design! I will be returning again and again just to see Kate! If you're looking for a pro, who absolutely knows what she is doing and listens to what her client is requesting: go see Kate!! Thank you Kate! I am so happy!

The best nail salon in Charleston! So clean and beautiful, and the kindest staff. Erick is an incredible nail tech and he does such a fabulous job. My nails have never looked better, and he was kind and caring taking care of me!
