I really enjoyed my hair spa experience with Angel. She was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, explaining all the steps while also allowing me to relax in a peaceful environment. The head spa is described as a facial for your scalp (and I could see and feel the difference). I felt so pampered as my head was massaged through the various steps. I’m looking forward to future head spa appointments with Angel. I would highly recommend this service!

As far as I'm concerned, the ONLY place to go for bridal services in State College. I would give J. Stephens 10 stars if I could! I had a tremendous experience with Anne, the owner who moved mountains to take care of me. I can't thank her enough. Maddy was extraordinarily helpful with updo planning and advice, in addition to being generous with her time. Camrie was an absolute fairy godmother for wedding day services. Her talent, care, and attention to detail made everything flawless, and I couldn’t have imagined a better outcome. She listened and was open to making small changes on the fly. I was so lucky to have an amazing team on my side!

I was looking for a more reputable salon and J Stephens Salon & Spa did not disappoint. They're more expensive than other salons, but you get the service you pay for. They have a wide array of services, so you can get all of your self care at one place! I have only used them for eyebrow threading so far as it was the only appointment they had for weeks, but it was the most wonderful experience I've ever had. I will be scheduling routine services from now on. The girls there were super friendly and talked to you like they have known you forever and the stylist doing the eyebrow threading was super knowledgeable, kind, and explained the entire process to me. She made recommendations based on my facial structure and was very informative. I highly recommend it if you can get in for an appointment! Schedule in advance!
