Mary's Nails

My first visit was today. Andy did my nails and he did a great job. He had just created a new design, and I’m happy I was the first customer to show his design. I was very impressed by the staff who called people by their names, and remembered them from previous visits.

I can’t say enough good things about Mary’s Nails! The whole team is so friendly and kind, and the salon always feels welcoming and relaxing. I get both my manicures and pedicures done here, and they always turn out perfect. A special shout out to Mary herself – she greets you with such warmth every time you walk in, and she personally takes care of me. She does a phenomenal job on my nails and makes the whole experience feel personal and special. You can really tell she cares about her customers. If you’re looking for a place that consistently delivers beautiful nails in a clean, friendly, and comfortable environment, Mary’s Nails is it. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve honestly never had such a disappointing and painful experience at a nail salon. What should have been a relaxing moment of self-care turned into a rushed, careless, and painful ordeal. First, I specifically asked the tech not to use the filing tool on my toe, and she did it anyway. She ended up filing the skin off the side of my toe, which left me in pain. Then, she rushed through the pedicure, skipping half the steps that are supposed to be part of the service. Just rushing through something that’s meant to be calming and therapeutic. And if that wasn’t enough, she burned me with a towel that was way too hot, after I told her it was too hot. When I asked to speak with the manager or owner, she brushed it off and said, “It’s no big deal, we’ll take care of it.” But when it came time to pay, they still tried to charge me full price. I reminded her about the burn and the pain she caused with the tool, and she had the nerve to say there was “no proof” because there was no blood. I paid for what I did receive and left, while they were in the middle of arguing with another customer about being overcharged. That tells you all you need to know. This could have been handled in so many better ways, with an apology, or even just basic accountability. But instead, I left in pain and completely disappointed. Let this be a reminder to advocate for yourself in any space, even the ones meant to bring you peace. I won’t be going back, and I hope others think twice before giving their money to a place that doesn’t value its customers or their wellbeing.
