Mackenzee/ kenzee cant do a fade after 4 attempts, but the place is good and usually does good haircuts for women. My attempted mens perm fell out after a week, *I followed the stylists advice to a T and made sure to ask plenty of questions about upkeep* with the hair stylist being a little rude and not conversational at all during the 45 minute process. Ive gotten about 6 haircuts here and haven't been very impressed, will be switching places after failing to get a basic fade.

I never write reviews but my experience here was beyond awful. I am 8 months pregnant and wanted to get my hair done before my baby shower, I was really looking forward to treating myself for the first time after a long complicated pregnancy. When I called to schedule I specifically asked to not have a certain hair stylist because I knew her work was not ideal, when I came in for my appointment I had the exact stylist I requested not to have. We had a 15 minute consultation that I paid for to talk colors over. I showed her photos of what I wanted and she said my hair may not lift enough to achieve that color which is understandable. The stylist said we can see how it lifts and assess what color we wanted to dye it after seeing how much it lightened. She complained that she had church after work and may not get my hair done, I said I could reschedule if she needed me to since I initially didn’t want her doing my hair anyway. When she did my roots they were brown when I wanted black so I asked if she had time to redo them since it only took about 20 minutes, she said yes but didn’t inform me that I’d be paying for her mistake. When I asked her what dark/light colors she was putting on my hair as we went she would say “the one next to the color you wanted” so she disregarded the colors I attempted to pick out not even telling me that she couldn’t achieve it in the first place. When all was said and done she asked if she could NOT blow dry my hair due to her plans after work. I was confused because I figured a blow dry would at least come with the service, and I knew it would be more than I expected so I believe her blow drying my hair should be included. She kept complaining the entire time about how she had “crazy hair day” at her church and had to rush out when she was off (we got done 30 minutes before she was scheduled off at 5pm her obligations were at 6pm). It was not what I wanted but I tried to be happy with it because I knew she tried her best, it just was not what I wanted. When I went up to pay it was almost double what I was told it would be. I know they can’t give an exact estimate for pricing until after it’s finished but she said because we redid the roots and she had to use more dye it was $250? I could not justify that considering she gave awful customer service and almost tried to send me out with wet hair. The front desk then said it was her last day so obviously she just wanted to rush out of there. I was so embarrassed and I felt like the manager and receptionist were looking at me like I was clueless. Later that evening other stylists messaged me and said they shouldn’t have treated me that way and letting me leave like that was absolutely horrendous. The whole experience was awful and they’re unable to fix my hair before my baby shower (I would’ve preferred a partial refund because I shouldn’t be paying for the stylists initial mistake). They had me schedule to get it redone but I’m anxious to go back after how I was treated, if it wasn’t done right the first time I don’t see it being done right the second time. I’m just so sad because I have heard wonderful things about this place. I have multiple friends who say they won’t go back after my experience because they’re so baffled at how I was treated. I’m not adding the stylists name because maybe she treats other customers better and I was just her last customer before her quitting, still no excuse as to the whole negative experience. I’m thoroughly disappointed.

Went in for a pedicure, $39. My toes came out worse than when i went in unfortunately. I asked for French tips and got extremely uneven lines. She cut the corners off my nails and told me she was going to file them down but never did. My nails were square prior to this and only needed a small trim but she completely changed the shape making some round and some trapezoid. Then when she went to apply top coat it had been stained red and left a mark on my nail. She went to apply a different top coat because of the stain and wasn't even going to remove the big dark pink mark in the middle. Even after she removed it it was still quite visible. Then she told me my nails were dry. When I got home and pulled off my socks my nails were even worse than before because they were not dry. I am going back for them to fix so I can update it then but I specifically came here because I thought I was going to get good quality spa like pedicure. This was my first time going there for a pedicure.. I will update after they are fixed. Update: Ashley fixed my toe nails as best as she could until they grow out and did a great job rubbing my feet during the pedicure and cleaning under my nails. She was also very kind. I updated with a photo.

The stylists here are amazing, but I had a really poor customer service experience today. I drive 40 minutes for color and cuts here. Today, I was running 5 minutes behind because I got out of work late, so I called & let them know that I’d be a little late. They said it was fine & thanked me for the heads-up. Fifteen minutes later, while pulling into the parking lot (maybe a minute over the 5 minutes I said I’d be late), I got a call back from the salon saying that they couldn’t see me today. There was another appointment & they were concerned about someone sitting with color for too long. Unfortunately, nobody else was available even after I explained that I was just a minute out. I understand that timeliness is important, but I wish that I would’ve been told that my appointment wouldn’t work if I was 5 minutes behind when I initially called to say I was running behind. I could’ve turned around 25 minutes in instead of driving the full 40 minutes for no reason. It’s a shame because I had to reschedule this appointment due to a funeral last weekend & just managed to make this work with my work schedule for one day.

Danielle was my massage therapist for a 90 minute session. I have tried several facilities over the years in Butler and Grove City without consistently being happy with the outcome. The facility was very clean, professional staff, beautiful space for a massage and reasonable prices. The ease of scheduling with the online calendar is nice and the text reminder is helpful. The service provided during the massage was excellent and I will be maintaining a consistent schedule for massage. My best friend recommended the facility and Danielle. I will be recommending her to others as well.
