Peles Salon Greensburg

It is incredibly hard to find a stylist that will cut a man’s hair; it is harder to find a stylist that will give a man a good haircut - sideburns included. My husband has been to Peles Salon twice for a haircut and I can honestly say that both times he has gotten an amazing haircut! Of course, he went there looking for a new stylist and a new hair style all at the same time - double difficult! Jesse - you did an extraordinary job; my husband’s hair style and cut looks incredible! I think he is booked for the rest of the year and if not, he will be. Thank you for making this a great experience.

I’ve been coming to Peles for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else! I started at the Johnstown location with Emily and switched to the Greensburg location when I moved. Leann is great to work with, I wouldn’t go to anyone else for my hair! The salon is great and I love the Aveda products they use as well. Highly recommend!

Went yesterday for some highlights & a cut for fall. Jesse is very talented, and I got the look I was hoping for. The salon is so nice . Definitely will be back again. Thank you so much, Jesse 🙏-- Patricia

Peles is such a wonderful salon. As soon as you walk in into their doors, it’s like a second home. Everyone is always so nice. It’s such a welcoming atmosphere. Jen and Jesse are so knowledgeable! They are always making sure their staff are up to date with the latest trends and education. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Peles salon! I always leave feeling refreshed and beautiful!

I hate to talk bad about this place because the girl that cut my hair is very sweet, but she does not listen too great. I had my hair cut with her several times, and I walk her through cutting it. I always get a minute slide cut face frame because it is softer. The week before my wedding, I took my guard down with her, and she cut it where she started pulling pieces forward and cutting without even asking me, and I hated it. The face frame was way too steep and layers at that point that didn’t flow and doesn’t compliment my oval shaped face. It takes a lot longer to style and forever to grow out. What made me really sad though was the day of my wedding. My hair and how I looked was the most important thing to me besides marrying my husband with my family and friends. It was so important, and by far, my biggest regret was coming to the salon to get my hair done. It actually haunts me deeply. I wanted a simple spiral curl that I could have done myself. She brushed out my hair and did this kinked wave with a bunch of kink at the top of my head which I absolutely hate. She doesn’t ask questions and just does what she wants. It didn’t flatter my face whatsoever and ruined my day and ruined all my pictures that 5 grand was spent on. I started to get upset because I hated it, and they wouldn’t even let me touch my own hair to try and fix it. It wasn’t their wedding day and that wasn’t what I wanted at all. And we were running out of time at that point for me to go and redo it all. It was so awful. My worst nightmare on my wedding day. I cried and cried all honeymoon over it. When you spend 40 grand on a wedding and absolutely hate the way you look and your hair, it hurts. I don’t like the honeymoon for how sad I was and how I kept wishing I would have spoke up, but when she does what she wants…. How was I supposed to know to speak up or what to ask for before she does it? Like how was i supposed to know to tell her not to pull my hair to the front and create a deep layered face frame??? When they wouldn’t let me touch my hair on my wedding day, I should have stood my ground but most importantly how much I deeply really regret ever coming to that hair salon to get my hair done for my wedding day. I have not posted any pictures from that day. It took me a week to even open our wedding video because all the hurt from the salon and the way I looked would resurface. It was just an awful experience, especially on your wedding day. I know my hair and what I wanted…. To be told you want the bridal look is not ok. You may have wanted the bridal look, but it was MY wedding, and I wanted something different. My wedding was four months ago Tomo, and I still get so many tears even writing this. I had to talk to someone about it because of how deeply depressed I have been from the wedding from how I looked :/. I hate to say this and I actually mean this when I say it, my wedding and the memories of the wedding are so ruined because of going to this hair salon. I hated my hair so much that we are spending more money again to redo our wedding pictures again on September 6th. It won’t be the same, but will give me a little peace to try to move forward. It was extremely costly to my happiness and the bank ever coming here for wedding hair style. I would hate for this to happen to another bride on her special day :/. It honestly makes me sick to my stomach still to this day. I like them as people, but not as hair stylists. The control was completely stripped from me for them to do what they thought was best for my hair on my wedding day. It was awful. This is a picture of me at my bridal shower, and this is a picture of me right after walking down the aisle with whatever kinked flat curl hair style that she completely chose as the bridal look. I wanted a simple curl, and that was not it at all!!
