Tippy Nails and Beauty (formerly Solarium Tan And Nail Bar)

I have been to many different nail salons in the Wexford and Gibsonia area. None have really drawn me in to keep coming back, but I think I’ve found my new home at Tippy Nails. Everyone is very kind and welcoming. I wasn’t sure what to get on my nails, I tend to be very indecisive, but Tommy and Kimmy were patient with me and helped me settle on what I wanted. My mom and I came to celebrate my birthday, and Tommy said he would take care of my birthday nails. He had creative freedom and they turned out beautifully. I will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a nail salon, you’d truly be missing out if you decided to go anywhere else.

This was my first time at Tippy Nails and I’m so impressed! The salon is clean, relaxing, and has such a friendly vibe. Tommy did my nails and he was amazing — super detailed, gentle, and made sure everything was perfect. I left with nails I absolutely love and can’t wait to come back!

Today was my first time here and I’ll absolutely keep coming back! I have been to a few different places with great results but tippy goes the extra mile. I have never felt so comfortable and welcome as I did today. The staff are so friendly and wonderful. Tommy did a fantastic job with my nails and made sure they were done perfectly to my liking. He’s very detail oriented and has a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. You can clearly see how much they care about their clients so I will absolutely be back!

I made an appt for 9:30am thinking I could get my nails done early and get my errands done early. I left this salon after 12pm… I wish my nail tech would’ve hustled more. I was chatting with my nail lady and I was under the impression my nails would be like $80. I was charged $110. I had a birthday two weeks ago and they offer a birthday discount but after asking twice to use it, I was denied. I asked for my almond shaped nails to be a bit shorter but was told they needed to be this long for the shape. I was uninformed of the extra charge for using card also. They gave me some coffee which was nice. VERY republican salon unfortunately. Prob will be going elsewhere next time.

Good atmosphere! Kimmy is very good at designs and super friendly. Reasonably priced and on time with appointments. Angie did an amazing job on a kids manicure. Kimmy is also good at staying on time for appointments.
