Sunshine Spa & Nails

I went in for a Gel X manicure and pedicure and was assigned a male nail tech. He started with my pedicure and did a good job. He then moved on to my Gel X manicure. He was very rough with my nails and I have several small cuts on my nail beds. He also had to reapply the fake nail several times and seemed frustrated. When he was done applying them he painted the base coat for the nails and then had to have another tech finish painting the French tips. After the manicure was complete and I went back to my car, I held up my hand to see that the Gel X nail was going a completely different direction then my natural nail and there was about 1/4 inch of gel between my natural nail and the fake nail. I went back in to see if they could re-do them and they said they were booked for the rest of the day and couldn’t fix them until the next day.

Loved my experience at Sunshine Nails! The staff was super friendly and creative, and the designs came out gorgeous—so detailed and unique. The salon is clean, relaxing, and perfect for a pamper day. Definitely coming back!

Love it!!! I just came in with a nail pic and wanted a full set of acrylic. But she recommended that i tried gel-x, which looks more natural and is healthier for my nails, so i gave it a try and it turned out absolutely amazing!

I’ve been coming here for a few years. I work in the plaza. So it’s easy to make an appointment and come after work.. Never have my prices been the same, they don’t match the prices displayed that I agree to.. I asked why it was $60 difference and they just completely ignored it and didn’t have a reason why!!!! The nail tech doing my nails was extremely rude.. 4 of my nails were put on crooked. I pointed it out while she was doing them. I was ignored again! I get having a bad day, But she seems to always be in a bad mood every time I come, even with other clients. The front desk guy told me the manger was on vacation when I asked if someone could fix my nails before I paid. So I paid $200 for crooked with different lengths

3 stars because the first time I visited here was great! I had Ally, and she’s amazing. All the female techs here seem pretty fantastic, so ask for someone by name if you can. Unfortunately, I was given one of the only male techs last time I was here and he was very rough with me. I felt rather uncomfortable and I left with quite a few cuts on my nails. My nail beds have been stinging and painful all day, which I’ve never experienced before. It also became quite clear he wouldn’t be able to do the design I wanted, and when I asked for a small heart it was smeared and just looked bad. I also asked for french tips and… baby these are some THICK tips. My nails were crooked as well. I spent $100 ($80 + tip). I really hope this salon teaches the importance of being gentle with customers, it is upsetting, and unsanitary to have blood on tools. Probably will not be returning :(
