Connections Day Spa

I had a great experience at Connections day spa with Sabrina. She was very caring and professional. I was there to donate hair to wigs for kids. Sabrina explained the process and was meticulous when harvesting my hair. Which I appreciated in that the effort to grow hair to donate wasn’t wasted. Wigs for kids is a great program I am happy to be able to help an amazing cause!

I feel bad leaving this review because the girl was very sweet but I got home and realized the color wasn’t right. I got a partial highlight mainly to color and blend my roots but there is a very noticeable brown strip and it just wasn’t blended at all. I edited it to take more stars off just because I’m so upset every time I look in the mirror.. It’s literally so brassy and horrible looking; I’m going to find somewhere to get it fixed tomorrow.

I have been going to connections day spa regularly for a few years now. I recommend it highly! Hailey does a consistently amazing job. She takes her time and asks me how I like the service before I pay and leave to make sure it is her very best. I’ve overheard her talk with lots of other customers while I’ve been in the spa and she is always very welcoming and professional. I would never go anywhere else. They are top notch.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I wouldn’t take a dog here. I started off with dirty blonde hair (1st photo) and I showed the stylist a reference photo showing a nice brown color (2nd photo). I was there for 4-5 hours and my hair ended up even more blonde than how I came in (3rd photo). I left and went back shortly after to get a refund. The owner seemed apologetic and wanted to fix my hair. So I sat back down in the chair (big mistake). I sat there another 3 hours for my hair to end up like this (4th photo). They blamed my hair for “not being able to darken” which is a complete lie as I’ve had my hair dark plenty of times. The owner also said “I’d love to have you back in 2 weeks to fix this” and I declined because at that point my hair would probably fall out with all the damage they have already caused for no reason. They bleached my hair when I wanted to go darker. I don’t know how they got licensed honestly. Do not go to this salon unless you want brassy, reddish orange hair. ***EDIT*** I went to a new hair stylist 2 days later and my hair darkens as normal…. Without any bleach🙄

I had the pleasure getting a facial at Connections, and was introduced to the exfoliating scrub that the owner makes. It is, by far, the best face scrub I have ever used, which includes high-end products. It's oil-based, not water-based. After the crystals dissolve during washing and the dead skin is rinsed away, my skin feels nourished by the oil. The scrub is long-lasting, and I think the jar prices are very reasonable. Try it!
