Hammer & Nails - Lakewood

I paid $50 (+gratuity) for the basic non member haircut and it was absolutely luxurious! Before my stylist was ready I got a free drink from the bar for it being my first time, a very nice whiskey (Woodford Reserve 👀) and soda. I got the haircut I always get, but here it was much more skillfully done, plus a ton of extras like shaving my neck, hot towels on my face, shampooing, drying, and styling, plus an offer to do my eyebrows but I declined. I called it a reverse speakeasy- it's actually a haircut place but the bar and drinks were a surprise lol. Very professional, very skilled stylists

The place was nice. I loved how it looked. Just not the price. I know that's probably average but to me I like my money. My hard earn money. And I can't justify $70 to do my beard that's including tip That's why I always do my own stuff. I did this for the experience. I will recommend. But for me I could do my own hair still and beard like I always do for free. I don't have to blow $70 or something I could have done. Josh was great. He was cool. He did his job. He is respectful. I gave him a 20 for his work but where is that extra $50 just to do the beard going. He should be getting majority of it not because of my tips. But still recommend for the experience and if you could afford it each month. I have other bills. I don't need another $70+ bill for something I could do at home. But I do love that experience. It was great. Just too pricey like usual for something people could do at home. I always say keep things reasonable and get more customers and not a lot of customers. Will pay $50 plus tip just for their beard each month. Maybe 25. You might get more customers . But that's my review and thoughts for today. I may go back for another special experience. Who knows lol. Never say never lol

My son wanted a mullet, Dominique did a great job, she was fun to talk too, made him feel so at ease, this was a huge step as he had long hair. I would recommend her and Hammer and Nails. Also the girl at the desk was so nice, great conversation. Thank u girls for making a mamas heart happy and for making my son feel special ❤️

Had Emily for a full run of services and she was fantastic. Super casual approach while being meticulous on every aspect of the care. Would 100% recommend her for anything you are going for.

I was recommended this salon by a good friend, and I am immensely satisfied with the staff, the layout, and the variety of services that are offered. I had a manicure/pedicure with Emily, and it was thoroughly enjoyable & relaxing. I have always been impressed with how well this establishment has been operated, and I have suggested to several friends and acquaintances that they should check out Hammer & Nails, they will be quite happy with the results. Keep doing what y’all are doing, and I look forward to my next visit.
