2025-08-14China at the 3rd St location is a doll! I trust her professional opinions explicitly!! I walk in looking like a rag doll and walk out looking years younger! Her coloring expertise is unmatched and she is completely honest with you!! I am 57 years old and got carded one time after leaving the salon when I stopped at the casino on my way home!!! If you are looking for a great colorist/stylist, ask for China!

2025-11-04I got my hair cut and styled at Square One after hearing so many great things about them over the years, and DANG - everyone was right! My hair went from Hermione Granger in the early years to something that has looked good every day since I got my hair cut a week ago, even through washes. Plus, the prices were incredibly reasonable. I will definitely be going back there and have now become a member of the choir that sings their praises. 10/10 would recommend.

2025-12-16Abbie saved the day for me. She was so nice and understanding. She has so much integrity. I purchased a gift card from another square one location for my daughter who lives in Virginia. I made it clear that the card was for an aveda salon in Virginia. After I purchased the gift card, I found out that the Square one gift card could only be used at other square one salons. Abbie understood immediately that the gift card would not be useful to my daughter in Virginia and it was for a substantial amount. Abbie refunded the gift card immediately and she was so understanding. She really cared about me as a loyal customer. My daughter and I have been going to Square One in Dayton for many years. After Abbie's help, I will continue to be a loyal customer. We love Square One in Dayton.

2025-12-03As a first time customer it was an excellent experience for a men's cut. Beth did an amazing job taking her time to understand and checking in regularly throughout the cut to make she got it right. Very skilled and knowledgeable. Comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Well worth it!
