Brookings Nails & Spa (SOUTH DAKOTA)

This place is wonderful!! My daughter and I made a last minute appointment and they were able to get us in and do both our nails. They turned out beautifully. Really appreciate James being so kind as well. No pressure environment and they help you understand exactly what you are paying for.

This was my first time at Brookings Nails & Spa, and I will definitely be back (already booked my next appointment). I got a design that was very detailed, and it was fairly priced and only took a little over an hour. The staff was friendly, and the environment was very clean.

This was such a fun experience, and my nail tech did SO GOOD!! Im so happy with the results!! Thank you Brookings Nails! 💅✨

I got the most amazing set of nails I have ever had here. I got a fill to replace the last set I got from a different salon. I made an appointment and showed up a bit early and I got seated immediately (I understand this doesn't and can't always happen, but it was a nice surprise). Prices were standard and reasonable, the staff were kind and professional, and the atmosphere was nice. I'm specific with my nails and they met my needs and made tweaks when I asked without any complaints or sass (compared to other places I've been). I highly recommend them, and will be a regular customer going forward!

2 out of 5 stars We had an appointment for three manicures and pedicures, but despite scheduling ahead, only one technician did all three manicures, which meant we had to wait for each other. I didn’t even get started until 30 minutes after my appointment time. The manicure itself was rushed and incomplete. My niece’s nails were only filed and then painted - there was no cuticle care or massage. We pointed it out, so she did them on the next two manicures, but even then, the attention to detail was minimal — some of my nails weren’t filed and I had to ask for her to do so. After the polish was applied, there was still polish on the skin around my nails that wasn’t cleaned up. Another frustrating moment was when my niece accidentally smudged a nail while taking off her shoes for the pedicure. My sister asked the technician doing her pedicure if she could fix it, but the woman ignored her twice. It wasn’t until the third time she asked that the technician got up, without a word, and fixed it. On a positive note, James, the owner, did my pedicure, and he did a great job, very friendly and thorough. It’s clear he cares about his work. Unfortunately, the inconsistency in service from the other technicians overshadowed the experience. While I recognize this review reflects only two employees, we won’t be returning. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality of service in the future.
