R-Nails

This place should get a 0 star, and the only reason they get a 1 star is because the lady who runs the place is super sweet and *somewhat attempted to fix the issue. I just moved here from GA and am trying to find a new nail salon to go to regularly. I went in and asked for a fill-in for my acrylic nails, but wasn’t told until after I had already sat and waited and gotten my nails cut down that they informed me that they didn’t do acrylic there, and it’s only s&s or polygel. Because my nails were already off and my birthday trip was coming up in two days, I decided I’d try something new. I asked the girl if polygel was strong enough because I work with children, she assured me it was, and proceeded to do it. They were so thin and I voiced my concerns prior to leaving but had already been there for 2 hours (with no design — after I had asked for one and discussed it with them prior), so I unfortunately had to leave without one. The very next day at work, two of my nails broke. I called immediately and asked to come get them fixed, which they were very kind and told me they would do so for free. I went in the next day, the manager fixed them and did S&S, and then had a tech do the design that I had asked for the day prior but wasn’t able to get after the 2hr base-time. However, to my surprise, after the design was done, I was informed I was going to have to pay an additional $55 for the design (on top of the $65 I had paid the day prior). All in all, horrible experience. It is obvious they only care about making a nickel rather than customers experiences and results. I would recommend going elsewhere, like Happy nails or Aloha nails in Blakeney. P.s. - this was my $55 dollar-worthy “giraffe” design. (After my original $60 dollar base-rate for the nails themselves).

Very friendly staff and very pleased with my nails we had been to a couple different places and they were totally booked and busy not accepting anyone for hours and R-NAILS welcomed us and took care of both myself and my daughter and we had great conversation throughout our session. We are Dallas cowboy fans and here’s saying that the nails are better than the actual team lol since we lost today again.

I am new to the area, from New Jersey, and visited R Nails today after reading the reviews. I had Lee do my pedicure and it was HEAVENLY! She really took her time and did an excellent job, despite me only needing a basic pedi with no polish. I was so relaxed by the end. The atmosphere was very upbeat and friendly, I felt very welcomed. Looking forward to going back.

I got a wonderful mani and pedi here, $50 total! Great prices, great staff, salon is super clean.

Pedicure was great. My nails turned out better than the inspo pic I showed. I didn’t feel rushed. He went above and beyond! I wish I would have asked his name so I could recognize him in the review.
