Utopia Nail & Spa New York

I visited Utopia this past Wednesday on my day off from work, I had been following their reviews online for some time and I wanted to add a nail salon to my rotation. First, the neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, several parking spaces. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile by Angie, the owner, she was a doll. So welcoming and hospitable, I felt right at home. I was blessed to have Nari as my technician. I am very picky with the quality of my services because I have been blessed with excellent service for years by my current nail technician, but she is in high demand and I have to have options when I am in need of service and Nari DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I had visited a highly rated nail salon in midtown east that turned out to be very disappointing and after getting a full set of tips with a japanese gel, 1 tip had already fallen off and 3 were on the verge of saying bye bye. Nari replaced the 4 tips and gel filled the rest and restored my hands' confidence again. She is meticulous, methodical, and I saw techniques that I have never seen before, she is SUPERBBBBB! I’ve been going to Utopia Nails for a long time now, and I can confidently say that Nari is the best nail tech I’ve ever had. She is incredibly meticulous and truly takes pride in her work. Every detail matters to her, and it shows.. my nails always look flawless and last so well between appointments. Beyond her skill, Nari genuinely cares about the health of my nails and always makes thoughtful recommendations to keep them strong and looking their best. I was looking for a clean and well put together salon, and I found Utopia. I’ve gotten gel and dip powder manicures done here and I love it every time! The nail techs are super skilled and very nice. Patricia is always super precise and my nails last for weeks after getting them done. I always enjoy my service and am satisfied with the results!

I’ve been going to Utopia Nail & Spa for quite some time now and they definitely deserve a 5 star. The place is clean and well maintained and the nail techs are really nice and call you by your name the moment you step in the place- a really nice and warming touch. Patricia is a solid- she meticulously cleans my nails and I always leave with a nice smile everytime she takes care of me. The owner Angie is extremely nice enough to offer me a comp when I had a slight problem- it shows highly how they take care of their loyal customers. So thank you again and highly highly recommend 🤍

This was a pretty unfortunate experience. The place was clean but within 2 weeks, my nails are falling apart. This is after a new acrylic set I received 2 weeks ago. I spent 100 dollars before tax/credit card fees for one nail color with no design, just 2 fingers with tips, and a full set acrylic. This place is too expensive for the quality. The color presented wasn’t the same color on the nail. And after my nails were done, the nail tech refiled every nail which I never experienced before and did not like. I usually do not write reviews like this. But spending that much for something that couldn’t even last 3 weeks is upsetting. I did get my toes done from here also for a gel pedicure. So far they are holding up fine and I thought for a gel pedicure that they are reasonably priced. But I would never come back for an acrylic manicure again.
