Update: Been going here for months now and still very happy with service. Lisette is terrific. The online booking makes life very easy. I'm a fan. First time here today and will be going back. Got a great haircut I'm very happy with from Vanessa. Had a nice time chatting with her throughout. Felt very safe with the attention to COVID protocols. Already scheduled my next appointment - very happy all around.

I went in wanting to dye my hair and i was assured that my stylist knew how to do curly hair, I very much learned that was just said to keep me there because I have never seen someone so convinced they did a good job when it looked obviously so bad. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she told me she knew what to do but when I tell you she dyed literally only 10 strains of my hair! And it was golden even when I said I wanted it blonde. When she took off the foil she knew she messed up just by her face and she then continued to gaslight me into saying that’s what I asked for. I was in shock that I just had to leave and I still had to pay 85 dollars! I had to find another salon that actually knew what they were doing. Just horrible. The first picture is what she left me with and the second picture, is after I had to find a different salon that knew what they were doing.

There’s a good reason 18/8 in Morristown earned 5 stars from me and hundreds of others. They make it so easy to book online, and they close the loop with text and email confirmations. From the second you walk in, you feel welcomed and taken care of. The stylists are all accomplished, but I return to Lissette every time because she cares about my experience and does an outstanding job every time. They listen to what I need and want, and they remember EVERY TIME! They’re also incredibly flexible and will go to great lengths to accommodate me with my hectic schedule. Finding a stylist to cut my hair consistently has always been a challenge, until I found 18/8 and I’ll never change. I’ve moved all over the country over the last thirty years and they are by far the best, most professional and welcoming service that I’ve experienced.

Not a great cut as I request a trim. The hair in the back was scissor cut and didn’t come out great and was a quick job. Upon paying i was billed as a full haircut and given an attitude from one of the two people working the front desk. Ten minutes later upon leaving, I received a call from the manager Lisette who had an attitude as well and was offered to come back so they could trim it more. I did not like the stylist Angie and would not recommend.

Went here to cut my hair after growing it out for over a year and needed someone to layer cut my hair. I went with Lissette and she did a fantastic job with my hair and gave it the shape that it had been lacking. She also gave a lot of helpful tips and info about how to care for my tight curls during the haircut. so I would definitely recommend her as she not only cuts hair extremely well but also has an expert level understanding when it comes to different hair types!
