I have been a loyal customer of Ashley for over two years, regularly spending close to three hundred dollars every three weeks on hair services. However, after missing two appointments due to legitimate medical exams, I was shocked to find that Ashley decided to charge me the full price for these missed appointments without ever having the courtesy to pick up the phone and discuss my situation with me. This lack of communication and understanding is extremely disappointing, and I expected better from a stylist I have supported for so long.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anthony Garubo Salon! From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed into a warm, professional, comforting and stylish environment. Ashley and team are absolutely incredible—her talent, attention to detail, and genuine care for her clients truly set them apart. I go to AG for my color, haircut, and hairstyling and each visit is better than the last. Each stylist listens carefully, offers thoughtful suggestions, and always delivers results that leave me feeling confident and refreshed. You can tell they are passionate and committed to staying current with trends and techniques. I can’t recommend Anthony Garubo enough! They’re simply the best!

Love Garubo salon! Have been coming to Garubo for about 8 years, following recommendation from a friend. I’m always so happy to visit and spend time with the lovely staff who take such great care of clients. Ashley has been doing my color for years and I trust her implicitly. She’s so easy to work with and her expertise and pride in her craft always shines through. Usually, I try to see Arabia for a cut and blow out. She is the most gorgeous person, inside and out, and I love the way she makes her clients feel so special. The ambiance of the salon is warm, friendly and comfortable. Although the salon sells a wide range of products, they always advise rather than give the hard sell that you sometimes find at other places. I’ve always been happy with the products I’ve purchased. They have high standards and always give great recommendations. Lastly, the pricing is reasonable for the quality of the services. Location is perfect in beautiful Maplewood. Always a pleasure to visit Garubo! Highly recommend.

If you’re feeling apprehensive about coming in- DON’T! I came in today for a haircut with Astrid…and it was life changing. She really listened to my concerns and made me feel very relaxed (not easily accomplished) She took her time washing my hair and gave me a wonderful massage- nothing about this interaction felt rushed. Everything was soft and gentle- just what I needed. At the end of my haircut and blow dry- I was in tears. Happy tears- I have never experienced that before. I’m so glad I came to Garubo and even happier to have met Astrid. Thank you Astrid.
