UPDATE: Management Refuses Accountability and Fails to Refund The poor service didn't end with my painful appointment. I returned to EMCHI Nail Salon on Saturday to address the cuts and poor execution. A staff member dismissed my concerns, stating the bleeding "happens often" due to my nail beds/cuticles (which is untrue). She simply rubbed oil on my fingers and told me to return Monday to speak with the manager, Nicole. On Monday, Nicole stated that my cuts were "normal" and offered a mere $20 partial refund. I asked for at least half the cost ($36.50). She took my name, number, and address and instructed me to send a Venmo request, effectively pushing me out the door. I sent the request immediately. It is now Thursday, and I have not received the promised refund of even $20. The management’s response was to make excuses, minimize my injuries, and ultimately break their word regarding a refund. I was hoping this was a simple mistake, but the follow-up confirms that I was taken advantage of. ———— I visited EMCHI Nail Salon today, hoping to find a reliable local spot to become my "home salon." While the salon itself is very pretty and nicely decorated, the customer service and technical execution were terrible, resulting in a profoundly upsetting and painful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was disappointed. I was not greeted immediately, despite being visible, while other customers were welcomed right away. I requested an acrylic set with gel polish and a chrome French design. The technician, a woman with glasses (I do not know her name), repeatedly hit my nail bed with the electric drill, causing me to flinch multiple times. The rough treatment continued as she clipped my cuticles so aggressively that my fingers were cut and bleeding. This was very painful and completely ruined what should have been a relaxing service. My requested chrome French design was dismissed by the technician without explanation and I was simply given a basic white French design instead. To make matters worse, I believe she was applying product to my cuticles to hide the blood from the injuries she caused, which I only fully realized once I saw my hands in the sunlight. Near the end of the service, she started blasting music from her personal phone at the desk, overriding the salon's existing environmental music, which felt unprofessional. I was charged $73.00 for a set of nails that left me with multiple open wounds. When I attempted to explain the issue to the front desk worker, she offered no apology, no resolution, and simply handed me a paper towel. As someone who is soft-spoken and avoids confrontation, I felt compelled to leave rather than make a scene, which only added to my stress. This entire appointment was supposed to be a relaxing treat but delivered pain, stress, and poor service instead. The lack of basic care, the painful execution, and the poor customer service make me strongly advise others to avoid this salon. It is a shame that a local business I wanted to support delivered such a terrible experience.

Such a relaxing visit! The place was spotless and had a calm vibe. My pedicure was done carefully, and my feet feel so soft. The polish went on smoothly with no bubbles at all. Everyone was polite and made me feel comfortable. I’ll totally be recommending this salon to friends.

They're very professional so nice and they do my nails beautifully 10 out of 10 definitely and they're so polite Great place to get your nails done definitely check it out walk-ins are welcomed and that's what I love but I would prefer to make an appointment because they get packed as soon as the doors openen
