I absolutely loved my experience at Venus D&S Beauty Salon Nail Studio! The staff is super friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. They make you feel comfortable the entire time, and the results are amazing—my nails came out perfect. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, which makes the whole visit so enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality nail services and a great vibe!

Firstly, I would like to applaud the crew for how BEAUTIFUL the inside of the salon looks!! It’s super cute and clean! Secondly I would love to give a shoutout to Amy. She had great communication, she was super friendly and always checked in to see if everything was going well, and service with her was overall superb. She took good care of my nails and I’m so happy I tried this place out everything came out fantastic!!! Definitely coming back again 100000/10 :) thank you all❤️

D and S Beauty Salon is the best! It’s a true one-stop shop nails, pedicures, hair, and so much more! The salon is always super clean, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming every time I visit. The girls really take their time and make sure I get amazing service every single time. I always leave feeling pampered and happy highly recommend! Make sure you ask for Alexandra for your nails and Lisa for your pedis you won’t regret it!

They’re not bad, per se. They just could be a whole lot better. I saw some of the other clients with acrylic had some fire nails. But I have a few concerns/criticisms about my nails and experience. I know the owner wasn’t there and I honestly don’t care too much about professionalism. I like when nail technicians are joking and laughing with each other and in a way that shows they’re a family. I understand Spanish very well, actually. There were comments and behaviors that I found a little disrespectful but I let slide. I definitely felt out of place and it felt like the two female stylists upfront were exhibiting heavy micro aggressions towards Arab/Muslim clients. I was a walk-in. I should have made an appointment. Regulars get offered water and they’re serviced immediately. When I walked in, I was just told to sit. But when other regulars came in, they were offered refreshments. The nail tech was working on me. By the way, very minimal amount of color swatches. Barely any variety in color. I was told mid-process to take a seat in the waiting area because my nail tech had a prior appointment she needed to finish. She did not communicate to me that it would have taken more than an hour wait. I had a lot of responsibilities between work and kids that made it difficult to do so. Eventually I ask how long this is going to take. She says, “20 minutes,” so I set a timer. It took more than 20 minutes. I waited and waited. By the time I was seated again, i was ready and eager to get these nails done so I can go home and get back to work. The polish application was good. Not choppy at all. The builder gel application disappointed me. I broke two nails moving boxes into my new office. They needed new tips and extra sculpting, while the others were pretty standard refills. The apex of the nails after the builder gel application are really bad. They’ll probably break again soon. There’s no support for my nail. If I cared only about “pretty” nails, i would have gotten soft gel. But I wanted gel to support my brittle nails. The apex looks god awful. For a $70 gel refill, they should really put more effort into sculpting the nails, otherwise they’ll break, and its waste of labor and money. Definitely not worth 70, not for the experience or the nail’s themselves. Note re: microaggressions: I saw another arab woman walk in, and inquire about services, particularly a pedicure and manicure. It was very clear that they had no room to do that. They took her number and said they’d call her back. Later on, another Muslim woman walked in and she wanted a pedicure and manicure. Their responses to her questions were really dry and rude. I understand the technicians are overwhelmed and probably overworked. But, it was all unnecessary and rude. They sat her down to do a pedicure and they never called the other lady back. Suffice to say: terrible service, mediocre nails, and just bad vibes. I came in at like 12:45/12:50 and got out after 3:00, simply for gel refills. Also, the bar stools are a terrible choice for chairs. If you’re going to have clients seated for 2+ hours, they should doesn’t warrant be coming back here again. An older woman sat on that chair for more than an hour and she got off feeling like she couldn’t walk. Just don’t do it. Update: The nail with the terrible Apex did in fact break. I got my nails done 4 days ago. Terrible retention. If the owner wants to respond to my complaint about wait-time, that’s fine. Whatever. Should be more communicative, anyways. But it doesn’t excuse terrible nail extension applications. Truly. Waste of $70.
