A lovely friend bought me a voucher for my birthday. I booked for a pedicure as I am not a fan of having my nails done. It was a real treat. A comfy massage chair, bubbly foot spa and beautiful products. My toes have never looked so good.

Great service from the team today. It was my first time at this salon and I will definitely be returning! I should have picked up a loyalty card! Think about everything you know about local nail salons, and know that this team have made upped other salons by 100%. Great customer service with, no shouting across the salon, no having your nails done by someone whilst they’re also on the phone or shouting across the salon to a colleague. This place is calm, relaxed and most of all professional. I’ll be back very soon. Thanks team, you’re doing a wonderful job here!

I'm not one to usually write a review but I went in today for the first time wanting a change from my old nail salon and this place is lovely and well worth the money. When you go in they offer you hot and cold drinks. I explained prior to going in that I had BIAB from another salon and presumed I'd need a soak off so booked for soak off and new biab. However they were thorough and checked over my nails and due to the condition of my nails I was able to keep what I already had. They were attentive and kept checking that I was happy. The place is clean and well organised and communication is clear. Will definitely be back and

Always have a great experience in Imperial Nails Shirley. Lilly is amazing 🤩 She shapes my nails beautifully (square and almond), I’ve had 3 lots of gel and removals on my hands (including nail art) and 1 lot of gel on my toes. So many colours to choose from, great music, friendly staff and always asking if you’re okay / want a drink! Thank you Lilly 🙏🏼🫶🏼

I’m genuinely disappointed to be writing this review, as I was really looking forward to getting my nails done here. The salon has mostly 5-star reviews, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, once I got home and had a proper look at my nails, I realized the quality wasn’t what I had hoped for. The gel application was uneven and not sealed properly to the edges. In some areas, gel had spilled onto my skin, and the polish itself had a gritty texture. I also noticed random patches of purple, as if the brush hadn’t been cleaned properly before use. Several of my cuticles weren’t treated well — some were left unfinished, while others, like under my thumb, appear cut and damaged. I’m also concerned about the salon’s hygiene practices. I observed that tools didn’t seem to be sanitized between clients. For example, I didn’t see the cuticle remover being cleaned before my appointment or between other appointments, as clients were simply directed to sit down without any tool changes in sight. That’s a major red flag. These were supposed to be my holiday nails, and sadly, they look more like a rushed DIY job. For the price and time spent, I don’t feel it was worth it at all. The only positive experience I had was with the receptionist — she was genuinely kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience.
