The Loft Spa

I went to go get my hair done, albeit a bit last minute but based off the description of the services I booked a color retouch and haircut. Got an email saying they can’t do it and then after explaining what I had wanted done said they could do it. I got there at my appointment time. Waited for 15 minutes after my appointment and then explained to the hairstylist what I wanted and she said she couldn’t do it. So I asked for a retouch on my toner and a haircut. After leaving the salon and checking my hair outside of salon lights didn’t notice a difference in my hair color. (I asked for a cool toner on my platinum hair) waited a few days later without washing to check and it looked more yellow than before. And when I went to style my bangs they were uneven. This was my first time experiencing this salon and the stylist was nice but I don’t think she knew what she was doing. I wouldn’t recommend going to this salon if you’re looking to get your hair toned or colored, or even cut cause they messed up my bangs. And then charged me $125 for all of that.

They stole our money. we made a mistake and thought our appt. was Wednesday instead of Tuesday. They called and said we could get 45 minutes still if we came now. We rushed over there only for them to change their minds and decide they would instead just like to steal our money and have zero compassion for a mistake( $300.) My friend who made the appt. has recently gone through a death in the family and her husband having cancer which is why she made the mistake. One email for each service was sent as a reminder. Zero text reminders ( her response is a lie). They waited until 1 hour before they called to tell us were late. I understand if they charged half even, we don’t understand how they told us we could still come then changed their mind. A little compassion would have been nice. We were repeat customers but not anymore. worst customer service ever! As a small business owner I would never treat my clients like this, I hope the $300 was worth all the bad pr in the community you will get! Owner was rude and totally unhelpful, really no budge there.

Got a gift card for my birthday to do the "preserve" spa package which includes a 45 min hammam, 45 min customized massage and 45 min customized facial. It was AMAZING! I was there for 3 hours and was in heaven the whole time. I loved the hammam space, it is private so you have access to the whole steam room/cold pool/sauna to yourself. My only complaint in this space was there is no noise barrier from the rest of the spa, so as I was trying to relax, I could clearly hear conversations from the front area down the hall. However, that did not bother me much and it was still a lovely space! Miles gave me a great massage and Maddy gave me such a soothing facial. Highly recommend both of them! If I wasn't moving away, I would seriously do this spa package every 6 months because it was so relaxing and I feel like everything was very fairly priced.

My massage with Octavia was the best I’ve had! The Loft is unbelievably clean, smells incredible, and was a phenomenal experience from shoes off at the front door all the way though!

Did the hyalite hot stone massage with Amanda. She is so knowledgeable and worked on exactly what I needed. Her medium to deep pressure is perfect. Would definitely book with her again.
