169 is the BEST place for nails hands down 🙌!!

I found inconsistent services on pedis. Yet the way I was degraded, humiliated to a great degree every appt made me give up convenience to find a salon further away. Best move I've made. So pleased I did. And the cleanliness was lacking but I was willing to put up with that. Yet in a day and age of Covid and as a RN myself I'd suggest wearing a mask. If you go here. After going here for over a year and believing it would improve I've updated my review. Appts always recommended. July 26. 2023 Walked in. 1st mistake Said it's just my 2nd time, idk what I want but not what I had. Discussed, proceeded. She cut my nails down to the quick then put a glaze on I stopped her and had to go thru girl next to me to understand so finally got thru with what I wanted and she said, "I can't finish you. My appt is here. So im waiting to learn if anyone can do my nails. Finally I asked after about 10 minutes ans Yes my girl would finish. She acted miffed the entire time I was there. Now disabled, my arms and hands but in 25 yrs have never had to explain Not.to rotate my hands 180 degrees and pull up. With the language barrier ans her mood decided to raise up in seat and deal with it. Difficult at best. Thank goodness for Kylie but tension in entire salon was tense. I pay with 25% tip and in the clearest English she has spoken all day chastised me and told me 3x what I should've asked for. What to ask for next time and remember I said idk ams only my 2nd time since moving back home. To say walk ins welcome No To chastise a paying customer. Really????? Beware

Love my holiday nails! Short nails don't have to be boring. Kylie does a great job of recommending paint and glitter combinations. She is friendly, and her work is meticulous.
