UNIQUE NAILS BAR III

I wanted to give this salon a try because they offer Gel-X, which I’ve found not many places do. I do Gel-x at home myself sometimes, but it is very time consuming and I don’t always have time to do it. The staff was relatively polite, but I did find the atmosphere to be unprofessional. As for the service, a few of the Gel-X tips were cured on crooked, one of which was absolutely unacceptable. Despite it being obvious, the tech would not have addressed it had I not said something. Even with an attempt to correct by filing, the nail was clearly still messed up and should have just been soaked off and redone altogether. Not even 2hrs after I left the salon, this particular tip popped off. I decided to just fix it at home because I had provided the polish they used and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of going back and wasting more time there. Upon further investigation, I discovered another nail wasn’t even fully cured and the gel was still goopy under the Gel-X tip. This is concerning as gel products are only safe to use if fully cured/cured correctly. I fixed this with my lamp at home. Another finger had a Gel-X tip that was too big for the nail and overlapped onto my skin, an entire side not even adhered to anything. I had to soak this off and fix it myself. Well, I’m now 2 days in with these nails and TWO more of the originals that were done at the salon have popped off. I paid $75, but for what? Very disappointing and a waste of time and money.

best set ive ever had!! i found this place after getting my nails absolutely botched at a differnt nail salon and i couldn’t be anymore impressed. they worked me in same day, removed, and redid my nails(that the other place had messed up). the staff are extremely talented, kind, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. the environment is very clean and welcoming. i got a full gel-x set done by chris. i will be making the 30 minute drive from nashville because it’s WORTH IT. chris absolutely understood the assignment 😍😍

Review: ⭐️ 1/5 If I could leave zero stars I would. Worst nail experience I’ve had in a long time. Unique Nails Bar doesn’t carry any dark brown colors, which is what I specifically asked for since it’s fall season. They tried to pass off a wine-red shade as “close enough,” and it still looked completely wrong. He even used a different shade of red on the bottom base of two nails and layered another shade of red on top. On top of that, the nail tech actually cut me during the service, which is unacceptable. To make everything worse, they charged me and my boyfriend $225 for a nail fill and pedicure—absolutely outrageous for the quality I received. They even rushed my service because it was a Tuesday evening and they said they wanted to go home. I walked out unhappy, overcharged, and with a color I didn’t want. I will not be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I have been going to Nancy at Unique Nails for years. She always does an amazing job with the dip and shaping of my nails and gives the best pedicures. She is a perfectionist!

I’ve been a loyal client of Chris’ since before this location even opened. His work is so good, that I happily drive all the way from East Nashville to Gallatin for him to do my nails. My dip nails last for at least a month and often longer. I’m always happy with the finished product and my experience. Chris is genuinely friendly and I always enjoy talking to him during my service. I highly recommend him!
