Shelby Nails

Been coming for years , so far no complaints, a little pricey. Then with tip I spent $140 , back in the day for a full set of nails and a pedicure and tip only used to run me about $60 , But I guess times are changing, And if you wanna look pretty, you pay the price. But I’m happy with that that’s all that matters. Went again today 9/26/25 Bill was AWESOME!!!! I was literally in the pedicure chair for over an hour , he is great and takes his time and so friendly!!! Perfect as usual

Danny is amazing! I was recommended to him by a Facebook friend and I haven’t had my nails done in over 5 years. Since I am going on vacation I wanted something special and he did an amazing job!

Nice place as far as the staff and nail art go. Prices are a little above my budget. I think it was 80 something for a full set. The reason for 2 stars is mainly that my fingers were bruised (see photos of green polish) swelling and sore for days-a week after my last appointment. I think I’ve been there three times now. I won’t be going back. In all my years of getting my nails done, I have never had anyone cut and force my acrylic nails off without soaking. It hurt a lot. I even said “ow” several times while it was done but they just smiled and continued. When I asked about soaking they said they don’t do that. I watched another customer getting their acrylic pulled off also. My fingers were bruised on the tops where the nail starts. Some were better than others. SEVERAL times the nail techs would scrape my fingers (that same top area) with that electrical spinning tool. I saw blood at least twice. My fingers itched after each visit but I didn’t think much of it. Turns out I am allergic to the UV light, so little blisters were forming. I was worried after my last visit about infection because of the bruising, but I hope that’s not the case. Other than that, the nail area was usually generally untidy and not cleaned between clients, with fake nails on the floor and counter (where I put my hands) that had been clipped off. And I never saw anyone clean tools.

Saw some ladies awesome nails & asked her where she goes, she said she goes to Shelby Nails, figured I’d try them out since the last few nail places made my dip nails all chunky and look like fat/wide nails. My 1st time here and I must say Michael did a great job. I showed him the online picture and he made it happen. He also asked and showed me each of my nails as he did them to make sure I was happy with the shape, the thickness, the color, and design. Will def be returning and letting my girls know about this place. Still going strong at Shelby nails and won’t go anywhere else. Just love how great they take care of me. Best place to get pampered
