NAIL LAB - Luxury Nail Bar

So I found out about this place on Instagram and it looked amazing when I got there on Friday. It was amazing. I had an appointment. I actually reached to my appointment about 15 minutes late and my tech was still available for me. He was a little shy, but that was fine because I don’t like too much talking. I like to relax I wasn’t offered any drinks, but I sure enough asked for one. I’m a mimosa which at other nail salons are given for free, especially if I’m paying for almost $200 worth of service unfortunately here it was a six dollar charge from Mimosa. Which is fine, but why are you also charging a two dollar service fee and have the sign that says it goes to your bar but you still charging for the drinks and then I don’t know if it’s the quality of polish they have because Ethan did a great job on shaping my nails and everything but why is it the day after the wedding And my nail polish is already chipping and it’s supposed to be Gel

I went yesterday evening and it hasn’t even been 24hrs and I have a broken nail. Mind you if she didn’t make it her business to file all my acrylic odd and not put enough on and made my nails thin on the sides. And the guy who did my toes put white under the color and didn’t tell the girl who did my hands so the polish on my hands and toes looks completely different. This is a great place for pedicures but not so much for nails. And bring cash they charge extra if you use your card.

First, I want to start by saying that the salon is beautiful. My nail tech was professional and pretty good at designs. Now, for the negative… I came in to get a refill, cut down and designs. I gave the nail tech an inspo pic and she didn’t quite nail the design in totality. To be fair my nails are much shorter than the inspo pic, so I understand some alternatives had to be made. At no point during my nail appt did the nail tech inform me of the prices. I am very accustomed to getting my nails done and I have never ever paid $142 for a refill, cut down with designs! I truly believe they make up prices as they go along. I called and spoke to the manager and was given a price breakdown of my nails , however there is no justification to charge anyone those type of prices in Raleigh, NC! This is not Los Angeles, and I do not care how fancy the nail shop is the prices need to be very transparent BEFORE going up to the counter to pay for your services. The manager gave me a $10 discount towards my next visit. I will not ever come back to this establishment again until they learn to treat people fairly and become more transparent in pricing. Ladies, and gentlemen please tell me if my nails are worth $142? I will post my pic. In my opinion a refill and design should have been no more than $80 max!

I never leave reviews but I had the worst experience here twice now. I asked for the wrong service which was my bad by they proceeded to not ask any questions and put the thickest glue and tips on my nails which looked awful. Still paid 70$ for them. Had to call and get them filed down because of how awful they looked and they tried to charge me to fix them! 2 months later I go to get the tips taken off and they charge me 20$ just to take them off! Which should be free. And I still have glue on my nails.

Took my friend here and I’d say this is the best salon that I’ve been to. The front desk was very friendly and helped us to go through the services they offer. The nail techs that took care of us were fantastic and attentive to what we requested. They have great decorations and complimentary snacks and wine. Definitely coming back to experience this again
