Legacy Nail Salon

I visited this salon for the first time about a month and a half ago. The owner, Kim, did my nails. I requested a pedicure and an acrylic set with a French tip and specifically said no gel. I also told her I’m picky about my manicures, and if she could do a good job, she’d have a long-term customer. I tried to post a picture but it wouldn't let me. They couldn’t take me for a pedicure right away, which was fine—I said I would come back later. Kim immediately got rude and said, “You come back?? You tell me you’ll come back and then you don’t come back?” I was shocked because this was literally my first time ever setting foot in the place. When I left, she asked again, and I said, “No, I’m fine, I’m not coming back for a pedicure.” During the manicure she ignored what I asked for and used gel anyway. I didn’t argue because she honestly doesn’t seem like someone who listens or cares. She came off very arrogant. Fast forward: I got the flu and was sick for over a week. When I finally felt better today, I went back for a simple polish change on my toes and a fill. She had another girl start the toe polish, and while that was happening, Kim asked what I wanted. I showed her a picture—pink gel with a silver sparkle tip, nothing complicated. Out of nowhere she started mumbling about how I “don’t like how she does nails” and should “go somewhere else.” I genuinely had no idea what she was talking about and even asked her directly. Then she quoted me $65 for a fill. I said okay, even though it made no sense. A gel acrylic fill should have been around $35, and a polish change is usually $15. She charged me $80 total, clearly deciding prices based on whether she likes the customer. For the record—I always tip very generously ($20+). The first time I didn't because she was rude. This time, even though I shouldn’t have, I still left her $25. But I will not be back. If you choose to go here, good luck. Kim is not nice, is rude for no reason, and seems to charge whatever she wants depending on how she feels about you. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. I tried to just let it go, but the more I told people what happened, the more I realized how unacceptable and unprofessional it was—and everyone agreed it sounded like a rip-off. Enjoy the tip, because the quality of the nails is not worth the attitude or the price. There are plenty of salons that do better work and treat customers with respect.

My first time coming here and the service is amazing!! The volcanic ash pedicure is wonderful, if you are looking for a service to help you relax this is the place to go. Rose was my tech and she made me feel so welcomed, and unashamed of my feet. Thank you guys!!

Great experience, will certainly return! I don't live on the Gulf Coast. Was only in town to take care of some business. Decided to kill some time at the beach get a pedicure. So glad I stumbled upon Legacy. The location is very clean and neatly organized. I was greeted with a smile and immediately seated in a chair. Basin was lined with a fresh plastic barrier, tech wore gloves and a mask, instruments were pulled from a sealed container, and no scent of harsh chemicals. Grade A experience. Hats off to the owner and staff for creating a welcoming professional environment.

Today I made it to this nail salon 15mins before opening. The salon open on time & staff is the BEST. If you on vacation this is the SPOT. Kim the owner is fabulous and friendly 😇. The salon is clean & sanitize. I highly recommend you patronize this location. I tend to travel to Biloxi & New Orleans three to four times a year. I usually go & have a nail spot I go to in New Orleans. Legacy nails have become my SPOT when I come to Biloxi. They will take good care of you. I wear short nails & dip powder. Let's just say everybody can't do natural short nails Kim was fabulous. My pedicure was perfect. She even threw me in a design.

Kim did a wonderful job on my nails and my pedicure! She is very nice and the salon was so peaceful. She did an amazing job on my massage as well!! Anytime I’m back down in Biloxi I will be paying a visit!
