Caleen's Day Spa

I traveled for work for 30 years and received manicures & pedicures in literally hundreds of towns and cities. In 2008, I started writing Google reviews. Seventeen years later I have over 3.5 million views of my reviews and photos. I am brutally honest about my experiences and don’t pass out 5 star reviews, almost ever. A venue grading is relative to the physical setting, services and location. I grade on a variety of experiences. Calleen’s Day Spa was well located and parking behind the building was convenient. My girlfriend and I used Dominic and Christina for our professionals. The salon was clean and Dominic was energetic and very helpful. She discussed colors for our nails and toes in relationship to the clothes colors we were wearing to a wedding event. I have never used anything but pink or coral colors and LOVED her advice. Holy Smokes! She really took the time to show me around the colors and brands of polish and gave me a quick review on their differences. Then we were introduced to Christine, who was more quiet and introspective. My friend really liked how Christine was completely focused on her job and how perfectly and carefully she accomplished her task while she relaxed. Dominic and I yakked like kids and enjoyed the discourse while she worked. I believe that Dominic and Christine both measures the energy of their clients and acted accordingly. The experience themselves, Mani/Pedi, were great. I loved the treatment of oil on my feet and hot towel wrap. I had never experienced that before. After we were done, I decided to come out of “review” retirement and do the deed. ADA wheelchair accessible is on their list of pluses. The venue is well laid out with individual spaces for each task. Calleen consulted with my friend on skin treatment and Maxine purchased products. I hope the photos tell a story. Their nail color selections were excellent. They offered more services than I expected but we had no time to book more experiences. I hope to try their facial on my next visit to Vineyard Haven on Martha’s Vineyard. Thanks a bunch guys!

Lovely,warm and charming experience. The spa is set up so each client is in a quiet intimate setting. Best manicure Iv e ever had. Faith is so genuinely kind it was a pleasure chatting. Will definitely be back again.

This week there was a road closure that made me late for my manicure- while it would have been totally understandable for them to cancel my appointment- Faith was absolutely lovely and made me feel welcome and calm. Not only that, she did a beautiful job on my nails. Just one more reason I’ll be back to Caleen’s again. Thank you so much ❤️

I would not recommend this nail salon, the cleanliness is not okay with me. I asked for a consultation before I got my brows done, they told me to pop in whenever and then they weren't even around. I showed up to my appointment and asked for a natural bushy brow, she waxed one side of my face nearly clean off. I have 90's style brows now, I grew my brows out for a month before I came in, and now l'm back to square one or less actually.... Very disappointed. I even spoke up about it not being anything like I asked and still paid $30 because the tech was being very defiant and wouldn't apologize. I'd leave a before and after photo but I'm honestly embarrassed to be wearing the brows she gave me. Thanks a lot!

Caleen is a absolute professional and impeccable at her trade. Her spa is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. She is so kind and a great listener! 😉 I highly recommend Caleens Day Spa ! She also has a spa in Falmouth, so the best of both worlds! Thank you Caleen!
