Crowne Pointe Hotel & Spa

Best place to stay in PTown. It was my first time my husband and I just got married and went on a little mini moon. I've been to ptown so many times but never had the pleasure to stay at the Crowne Pointe It is the perfect location, walking distance to everything. The rooms are perfect size and the grounds are so well kept. The service is great too. Everyone we encountered was wonderful to work with. So freindly and welcoming! Conner was great and especially Chris. Very accomadting, and Chris helped us book our next stay for Holly Folly !!! Food is great at the crowne Pointe as well. And you have to stop at the spa for a massage !! Eric and Matt were great. So relaxing. I've been in hospitality for 25 years and this place is top notch !

This place was located near everything and was charming. Our challenge was that we had a King Executive room that felt anything but luxurious or relaxing. First, the bed was super hard! Despite it being described as “plush”. The most challenging part was that there was a skylight. So the room was flooded with light at sun rise. There was a shade, but the string to control it was unreachable in the ceiling. If we had figured that out, there was so much dust on the shade, it was uninviting to pursue that option. We were there the first weekend of the off season so the staff seemed to be pared down. We had a problem with our room and it was hard to reach someone for help. The morning for breakfast, the food and amenities were great. But supplies were as short as the service temperament of the person running the desk. He was accommodating, but gruff because he seemed pulled in many places. A decent stay with lots of promise, but fell a little short.

I work in the travel industry and I was on a trip to explore Cape Cod. Provincetown was added at the last moment (for the weekend) and it soon became one of the highlights of my entire trip. Both the town and Crowne Pointe were an absolute delight. The hotel is charming, the atmosphere is welcoming, the breakfast is made-to-order, the rooms are cozy, thoroughly clean and well appointed. I genuinely think this would be a great choice for anyone. PS: Chris, thank you for making me feel at home and for providing the perfect suggestions for a wonderful weekend.

Wow! Where do I start?! From the rooms to the food and service — and honestly, the whole ambiance of the hotel — this place is top-notch. Ten stars! The rooms are cozy and clean. The patio makes you feel like you're on your own tropical island. The staff is wonderful; they’re more than accommodating and so personable. Joshua made us feel like we were his only guests. I highly recommend the Crowne Point to everyone seeking a superior hotel experience.

I was sold a balcony room, there was no balcony, there was a door that opened to the restraunt entry porch. This establishmemt has taken a major nosedive. Speaking with local friends they stated not same ownership as my stays years ago and now in decline. The outdoor firepit advertised to me as an ammenity was not turning on and I was told the owner knows how to get a hold of the person to get it turned on but owner not reachable. Two nights and same response and then told never really works well. The lobby bar is no longer styled or inviting. Bartender barely paid attention to anyone or anything. Warm lighting of lobby now harsh with near daylight bulbs. Ugly and cold. Wear and tear everywhere. This place is not kept up. Food mediocre. Coffee awful, had to dump it. Checkin parking was used as permanent parking for guests that couldn't get in overflow. Not following rules of town and causng traffic bottleneck on hill, this was according to a neighbor that I know and ran into. They mentioned repeat issues with this and I was also unable to unpack my car and had to walk all my bags (several trips) from the municipal/church parking lot 5 minutes away. I had to do the same when I left, lot of trips far away to load my car with my bags. The checkin is not supposed to be occupied with permanent cars but particular guests were told they could keep cars there for entire stay. Difficult to walk to into lobby because of the cars and the bikes to left strewn on the ground, people literally stepping over bikes as workers chit chatted. I ended up moving three of the bikes myself. Ended up witnessing times with cars parked in the main road (Bradford Street) at the giant curb at the top of the hill with people trying to do a checkin. Anyone that knows the hill and.curb knows.how dangerous that is, especially for pedestrians. I would never stay here again with current ownership, not even in a desperate situation. I frequent Providencetown and this was the worst stay I have ever had and have been doing this for over twenty years.
