Lancaster Nails

If I could give this zero stars I would…this place does not care about you and only wants your money. Today is my sisters birthday and she usually does her nails herself but thought she’d treat herself. She left this place so upset and her nails wrecked. She went in with long, natural nails and left with them butchered and the paint chunky. She also asked for a spiderweb and I don’t know what kind of spiderwebs they have overseas, but it looked nothing like a spiderweb. They charged her $100 for this atrocity. She went back and all they did was make the silver line fatter and now it looks like puffy paint. Unacceptable. I don’t want a response from the owner saying you’ll do better next time because that’s a generic response and there will be no next time. Learn some customer service skills, it will get you further than unhappy and one time customers leaving you a shitty review.

I used to get acrylic nails regularly, but my nails weren’t in good shape. I decided to take a year off and, following my aunt's suggestion, visited Lancaster Nails for a gel builder set. I've gone there twice now, and I couldn't be happier with my nails and the wonderful staff. They’re talented, kind, and a joy to chat with.

I only went here once, and while the lady did my nails almost like the picture I wanted, she rushed and my thumb has bubbles in it. You could see they were busy and trying to rush onto the next person quickly and that makes me nervous because if I'm spending $50+ on my nails I want attention paid to them. If you look closely you can see the little bubbles.

Staff was friendly but should not be paying over $50 for this type of work. I asked for a round shape that looks natural. Cuticles weren’t even touched, left with the driest flakiest nailbed ever. Such a shame because the ladies were nice. ** saw your reply.. just because my nail bed is larger than some does not mean you can’t work around to make it look natural. I asked for a natural shape with an example design of almond. If it couldn’t be done I would HOPE the experts (you ladies) would let me know that I need to reconsider. Instead you continued to shape my nail in a way that looks absolutely terrible. I will not be returning.

It was my first time here but I had a great experience and great service. I had a french gel pedicure done by Joyce and she took her time to make my nails look so good. My nail spot from now on. Thank you!
