Girl Crush Salon and Spa

I recently had Brandy do the hair for my bridal party (bride, 2 bridesmaids, MOB, and 2 flower girls). Ultimately, I liked how my hair looked leaving the salon but in hind sight I would have gone elsewhere. I chose this salon because of the affordable prices but wish I hadn’t locked myself into a contract before having the hair trial. Posted below are my inspo pic (me at my sister’s wedding just 4 months prior, done by Boston Beauty Network who I wish I went with), how my hair looked from the trial and then what I ended up with on my wedding day. My curls didn’t last long at all but my hair did look nice leaving the salon. I also think that adding an automatic gratuity of 25% is kinda crazy. I would understand 20% but was caught off guard by 25%. Overall, I think this salon could work for some brides but I would definitely recommend a trial well in advance to give you time to shop around before signing a contract.

I had the same hairdresser for 18 years and had to give her up as I moved away. Since moving I've tried four different hairstylists but to date hadn't found anyone I wanted to stay with. That has now changed since I went to Girl Crush yesterday and Christina did an amazing job on my hair. I felt so at home and comfortable with her as she was so kind and thoughtful. I felt everything she suggested was to make my hair more beautiful, have less upkeep and fewer salon visits. She suggested I change the color of my hair to better complement my complexion and also to eliminate the need to have roots done regularly. She worked on my hair for hours and considering all that she did was very fair in her charges. The end result was beautiful. I would recommend Christina to anyone looking for a true skilled professional stylist and who also has your best interests at heart.

I usually get my color done at the scalp bar. I have never gotten a service done at Girl Crush. Today I got my hair cut- and it was a huge cut! Christina and her colleagues are AMAZING! And make you feel welcome the second you walk in the door. The salon is for the girls, all pink and beautiful. The ambiance is second to the beautiful stylists and receptionist! I will be coming back for another cut! Thank you Christina and team!!

Christina did an amazing job with my haircut! I’m new to Plymouth and needed a new stylist, and after reading all the great reviews I decided to give Girl Crush a try, and I’m so glad I did. The salon itself is so pretty and inviting. It was a nice bonus to get a scalp massage while my hair was washed. Christina was super nice and really informative on how to care for and style my hair! Plus the prices are so reasonable. I will 100% be going back for all my hair needs!

I went in and booked an appointment with Christina and she was absolutely amazing in all aspects! She listened to what I wanted, cared about what I told her, explained things to me to help and make my hair better and the process, and just generally was an amazing person. I have lived in Europe and South Korea and I have NEVER had a better hair dresser in my life. I will be a forever customer and I absolutely love Girl Crush and Christina!! I feel like a brand new person and I'm so happy I took the chance!
