Lexington Nails & Spa

I have been going to this salon on and off in the past couple of years. I do dip and there are a few things that I like about their service that kept me going back, for example most technicians do a clean job, they dont use UV to dry the top coat, the dip looks natural and not too thick. However, I am giving a 2 star to this place because of the cold, rude and indifferent behavoir of the owner and staff. If you ask questions especially from the owner Cathy she responds with a harsh and cold tone. No eye contact, they dont speak a word and give you a sense of indifferenece. You are stonewalled for a simple Hi or Bye. Overall, I think that a big part of doing your nails is about the experience. If I am spending an hour of my time every few weeks I want it to be a normal experience.

The only place I will go to for my nails. I have been going to Lexington nails since I was 13 years old and I’m 27 now. They keep their shop clean and organized, have a large variety of colors, and the staff are my favorite!! Kathy and her husband are the best. I usually have Karen or Kathy do my nails, but everyone is great! I always have a good time when I go in and I get so many compliments on my nails!! Go here, you won’t regret it! They even let me have a model moment with these flowers!! Haha :)

They did a pretty good job on my nails (powder dip) and they were very quick! Only an hour for getting my previous nails removed and new set on. Unfortunately, I could only give them 3 stars because of the following: They didn't push down my cuticles before polishing and so now I have a gap at the bottom of my nail which annoys me. The lady who did my nails also was a little rough with the filer and cut my skin which really hurt and bled. Finally and most importantly, I got almond shape and when I went to pay, they added an extra 5 dollars for that shape. When I asked them why, they said for anything other than round or square, they add 5 dollars. This has never happened to me at any other salon and I don't think it's common practice. This was also after already spending 10 dollars more than I do at other places for not amazing results. Honestly, I would have been happy if they had mentioned the extra charge when I asked for almond shape so I could have chosen whether or not I wanted to pay that extra expense but my nail tech never mentioned it while doing my nails.

Lexington Nails always does an amazing job! Cathy did my nails for my engagement party and she did such a perfect job! Lexington nails is clean, organized and overall a good environment! I will be going there for all my future bridal nails :)

I go there once a month for a pedicure. Friendly staff, well kept facility. Pedicure quality is good and lasts for weeks.
