Lee Nails II

Lee Nails practices unfair price gouging that exploits customers. $85. French manicures are listed as $38, but I also asked for a thin orange line (shown in pic). Technician didn’t mention that there’d be an additional cost. $4.70 extra per nail. How was the additional $47.00 calculated?The woman at the counter couldn’t answer, just said “the added line.” Seems they make up prices on a whim or maybe because I’m 16 (I'm on my mother’s account) and was with my two friends who also unexpectedly paid about $90. Management, be upfront about prices. There’s nothing on the nail menu even close to $85. So many other nail places to choose from.

I have been going to Lee Nails for years. Every manicure and pedicure has been perfect and long-lasting. Just got my first set today after many long months. Business has been tough over the past year: I hope all the previous costumers will start venturing back there soon. They have great covid screening and they’ve always worn masks. Thank you, Kevin!!

I have been going to Lee nails for about 2 years now. I first went with a couple friends back in 2021. I went in today and the nail lady asked me if I could pay for my nails before she did them. She asked this in a sort of rude tone. They have never done that before and it is quite unusual since you normally pay after. I am not sure if this was meant to make sure I could afford paying for it but nonetheless it was honestly very rude. I felt very out of place seeing as I was one of 2 african americans in the establishment and it did not appear anyone else was asked to pay before. They do a great job painting nails but this just felt a little rude.

Thought my experience was going well getting a fill last night when I was taken for a walk in right away, the girl who did my nails was very quiet and seemed very precise but when filing my nails after putting new acrylic, she filed too far down on two od my fingers and I started to bleed. I tried to just keep getting through the process but everything she touched my hand with after hurt ,and I now have two swollen fingers this morning. Very painful, hoping it's not infected.
