My experience at this salon was amazing. I was in Portsmouth for my son's wedding and was cancelled by another stylist at the last minute. I showed up without an appointment and explained my dilemma. The gals at the salon went out of their way to help me with a trim, blowout, pin back, and makeup. They turned a tired and travelled person into a beautiful groom's mom with only about an hour to spare before the wedding. They were understanding, compassionate, and did a wonderful job. I will always be grateful for their willingness to help me out of a jam and their genuine kindness. You all are the best!

After a couple of failed attempts elsewhere, I finally found the right place at Solari Hair Salon in Portsmouth. Avy (pronounced Avee) took the time to really listen and understand what I was going for—and absolutely nailed the men’s hair color I had been trying to get right for a while. Thank you, Avy, for your patience and precision! Also, a big shoutout to the friendly and professional team at Solari for creating such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

Welcoming salon with a spectacular stylist in Molly. She gives me a great cut that I can wear naturally wavy or blown out. She listens to my concerns and on my latest appointment gave me the most natural looking highlights I have ever had.

Emily is absolutely amazing. The solari staff did everything they could to make sure I felt comfortable and safe during these weird times. After a few months, Emily gave my hair some much needed TLC with a cut and balayage with some cute little baby lights. She is magical 💕
