Woodhouse Spa - Metairie

Today was almost ike any other fabulous, relaxing, peaceful & enjoyable experience @ Woodhouse Spa, however I made an appointment last minute because I simply needed it! I was able to get a quick Therapeutic Hot Stone massage with Karen! OMG I’ve nvr had a short massage like this 1 today, however Karen was on point- PERIODT! Like, asked me a few questions, including my profession & hit the nail on the head. She was able to make me feel like I had my usual 110 min massage with her magical hands! She’s experienced for sure! I scheduled another massage as soon as I get back from my trip next week!

Today my experience was phenomenal! When I arrived, the staff was inviting. Kaci provided stupendous service during my facial session. She took the time with me and provided great recommendations! Thank you Woodhouse for great service!!!

My husband and I had a couples massage today at Woodhouse Spa in Metairie. Our experience was exceptional. We truly enjoyed our massages and everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I had McKenna and she was wonderful! I rarely have ever had a maternity massage that was great, but she was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Arrived didn’t have a seat for me. Although the room was empty all had names on them but mine. She sat me in a small chair in the corner. When my masseuse came still not one person in the waiting room. Granted I made an appointment 1.5 was prior. Could you maybe sit me in a nice comfortable place since obviously all the other reserved spots were not till after my appointment? Whatever No biggie but then started massage. ….. 40 minutes into my 110 min massage, there was loud major hammering tools construction going on just outside my room. I was shocked. It was continuous. I was so calm enjoying my time and suddenly talking and then non stop construction I wanted relaxation on a day I took off work especially for this and then suddenly annoyed, stressed and angry. I spent so much money and to be stressed? It ruined my experience. When finished I told my masseuse “who is doing construction in a spa during work hours”. He was totally embarrassed and shocked as well. I walk out my room and literally the door across from me was wide open with a gentleman doing construction on the room. I said “sorry but it’s completely rude to be doing construction in a spa where people are trying to relax”, and he said oh I’ll shut the door and closed the door in my face. I’m like wow. I had a facial next and mentioned to my facial girl that I did not want to be near that room. Which thank goodness i did because my room was again in that area And I told her about the construction She went and got the manager who was very apologetic offered me 15% off which looking back is nothing When I spent $500! Also, why not stop the construction? I wonder if there was anyone else there experiencing the same So after my facial just wanted to get out of there. Day off to try and relax and de- stress fail. Never will return to Woodhouse Metairie.

My registry was met with a kind and helpful greeting. My Mani and Pedi was with Millie today as usual it was a very great service. I am always pleased with her work and kindness. I also had ny eyebrows waxed. The esthetician was gentle and precise and my eyebrows look great.
