Palace Nail Lounge & Spa

Wouldn’t recommend given the inconsistency between employees. Came in from out of town and decided to book an appointment for my daughter, my sister, and myself based on reviews and hearing from those I trust about the quality. When we first walked in, there was no one to direct guests. Once we checked in, we confirmed with the front desk we wanted manicures with our dip/gel service. They told us that we needed to remind our nail techs. Did not tell us where/which colors were dip/gel/regular and expected to understand their process. Though making an appt, we waited an additional 20+ minutes because they didn’t have any seats together at the time. No big deal, it’s the holidays. Once we were sat, we confirmed again with the person seating us, we wanted manicures who confirmed our technician would include the manicure. Once we started, I let my technician know several times throughout the dip removal that the tool he (Sonny) was using was too hot. He looked at me like I was crazy and then held my nail down (to help with the heat(?), I don’t know) This happened several times. Once he started to apply the bond for the dip, I reminded him politely I wanted to a manicure (4th letting someone know). He paused, looked at the three nails he had already painted and said, “I’ll do for you later.” Didn’t catch it prior as I was focused on my 5 year old who was receiving gel polish. Now having confirmed again, trying to trust the person doing my nails as they are the pro, and I know different salons have various techniques. He filed my nails unevenly on the sides and left quite a bit of hardened powder under my nail though at one point, it had seemed like he was cleaning the edges and underneath. At the end, he did a minor cuticle cut on the sides and then charged an extra $5 for it. By the end, after having expressed what I wanted multiple times and not feeling heard, I was just ready to get out of there. Though I was frustrated, I did not want to appear rude. I’m not one to usually make a stink and prefer to give the benefit of the doubt, but the service and attitude of a few of the employees were really underwhelming and quite frustrating. My sister who was sitting near me was also shocked by the lack of customer service given. Not worth the price, especially $40+ for gel for my 5 year old and the poor service. Underneath my nails is caked with hardened powder and my nails are throbbing and hot from the dip removal. Giving it two stars as the technician who did my daughter’s nails and went above to find the right color for her did not go unnoticed, as well as the kind employee who did a great job on my sister’s. If you made it this far in reading my review, congrats, I truly hope you have a better experience than I did.😅

Iam a regular, have been attending for maybe a year now. And baby!! They never disappoint. Whatever you want.. you're leaving with !Thanks palace. Also, even my regular nails are healthy after the acrylic !

I truly cannot recommend The Halo Experience Head Spa with Layna enough. From the moment I arrived, Layna’s kindness made me feel completely at ease and so comfortable throughout the entire service. Every step of the experience was incredibly thorough, intentional, and deeply relaxing. As the owner of a head spa in New Hampshire, I have very high standards for both technique and overall experience, and Layna exceeded them in every way. Her attention to detail and level of care were exceptional. I genuinely can’t wait to return on my next visit.

Matt gave me such great advance from the start of the service from the finish. I came in not knowing for sure what I wanted but he made sure I picked what was best for me. My gel manicure & pedicure came out soo beautiful. I definitely will be back for a great service & chat with Matt!

Absolutely love coming here! Selena is my favorite all time nail tech! They have excellent service and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!! Thanks to Selena and Palace Nails for always getting me right!
