Spruce Nail Shop at Findlay Market

I’ve been going to Spruce regularly for almost two years now, and since I live in West Chester, it’s not exactly in my neighborhood. Still, knowing I have a monthly nail appointment with Ashley M. is something I genuinely look forward to. It’s even helped me step outside my comfort zone and venture beyond my usual two-mile radius! I love the Findlay Market location and the newer parking garage, which takes all the stress out of parking. I also really appreciate that the salon prioritizes sustainability and uses cleaner polish brands you can trust. The vibe at Spruce has always been welcoming, positive, and honestly—whatever you need it to be. There’s even an option to book a quiet service, which is such a thoughtful touch. The pressure is truly off at Spruce. Ashley has been incredible. She’s helped me figure out the best nail shape for my lifestyle and introduced me to builder gel, which gives my nails the strength I need for everyday life. After many appointments and peeking over at other individuals work and nail art, you can feel confident in whoever you book an appointment with- there is so much talent at Spruce. I couldn’t recommend spruce more! The atmosphere is accepting and positive, it’s always such an awesome experience. My girl, Ashley, quickly became one of my favorite people this year. She always does a phenomenal job and gives it her all to get you the design you are looking for. She and all the other nail artists are wonderful to chat with, they make the long appointments enjoyable and fun.

I’ve been getting my nails done by Ashley at Spruce Nail Shop for over a year now, and I’m always beyond happy with the results. She’s incredibly consistent, detail-oriented, and makes every visit feel special. I seriously can’t stop going back as the quality speaks for itself. I am always getting compliments on my nails. She even gave my son his first manicure! Their cuticle oil and lotion are my absolute favorites and keep my nails and skin feeling so healthy between appointments. On top of everything else Spruce is a clean, environmentally friendly shop, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend Ashley if you’re looking for whimsical, celestial, fun nails and a place you can feel good supporting!

I love this place so much! I always feel so welcome and walk out feeling cared for and beautiful. My nail technician Alix is so talented and amazing she kills it with my nails every time, if you are wanting any silly nail art or just a general manicure I cannot reccomend her enough. She takes good care to ensure that my nails are exactly what i want and that i am comfortable during her service. Sara who works at the front desk is always very friendly and extremely helpful with any of my nail booking needs and makes my day better just by being there. All of the staff is so friendly and positive and makes this such a nice place to be. Parking can be difficult so I would get there at least 15 to 20 minutes early to compensate if youre unfamiliar with the area. I like that the website is so transparent about their prices and booking policies with the different services they offer.

So I’m not sure why anyone would go here when there are plenty of way better options at an ambiance nail salon or another chain. Hello, my sister and I just recently got our nails done at spruce at the Findlay market location and we were not satisfied with our experience. I got a gel manicure and wasn’t super impressed with my nails to begin with since the French tip I requested looked super think and lop sided. My nails tech was talking about her nail brushes and said she always forgot them, I saw the brushes and they looked so messy and worn out, she even had to clip them mid session because hairs were sticking every which way. It wasn't a super big deal but then I went to work the same day I got them done and my thumb nail fell completely off (I work retail and was zipping up pants). Next day, I was doing the same thing at work and the other thumb nail chipped off the tip! My sister got polish and her nail tech took so long to finish her nails, mine and my other sisters nails where done 20 minutes before her nails were done. She then noticed that her nails were filed unevenly and her cuticles were not properly trimmed. The polish job that took forever then looked lumpy as a result. She decided today to take off the polish since she was unhappy, then noticed that her nail tech didn’t properly remove the gel polish that she had from a previous appointment. We don’t want to get a “fix” on our nails since frankly I’m not the biggest fan of these nail technicians. Would much rather spend my money on a place way cheaper and actually will last. We got out nails done for my wedding at an Ambiance nail salon in Anderson OH and that experience was wonderful! And my nails lasted a whole month before they were just out grown, never chipped and neither did my sisters. Go there! They are much more experienced and professional
