Luv My Nails

I drive a truck otr and it is not always easy to get home to get my nails done. Lana was absolutely amazing today. I'm hoping I have more deliveries in the area. I will definitely be stopping back.

My pedicure started almost 30 minutes after my appointment time. My pedicure was good, but my dip manicure was awful. The man cut me three times with the drill, and the bleeding wouldn’t stop. He was very apologetic, but it was painful. When I went to check out (total time there 2 hours and 15 minutes), I told the manager about the cuts. He then turned to the manicurist and screamed at him across the salon. I was mortified. He took $20 off my bill, but I really thought he would handle it discretely. It was a nightmare, and my manicure didn’t even last a week. So much time and money wasted. I’ll never go back.

My pedicure was fine. However, my daughter requested an acrylic fill and showed the technician pictures of what she wanted as an example, and the technician cut down her nails beyond what she wanted. The technician manually pulled existing acrylic off using metal tool and clippers. Did not soak whatsoever. This is not appropriate technique and can cause serious nail bed damage. I’m not sure if this technician was truly trained and licensed. My daughter decided she would not finish service with the technician and went somewhere else where she had to have a new set applied. Salon is otherwise clean and attractive but I’m afraid the skill of the staff is at question.

I went to Luv My Nails based on recent good reviews and experienced quite the opposite. I made an appt for 11am on a Mon with a specified technician, and I did not get that tech. I was done and in my car at 11:47am. I have never gotten out of a dip mani in under an hour before. This was the sloppiest dip I've ever paid for. She had to file the heck out of the sides bc everything was adhered to my fingers and she cut me in two places doing this. Also, cut me on one of my cuticles. The arrows in the pics are cuts and blood, since it's a little difficult to tell bc of the dip color. There was one other customer in the salon until the very end of my service, so it was not like they were busy (still unacceptable but more understandable). I will not return and would caution others, as it is clear not all techs are nearly as diligent and skillful as the other reviews describe.

It’s so hard finding a quality nail salon but after years of trying, I finally found the perfect place. I have been coming to Luv My Nails for probably almost a year now and I absolutely love it. I’ve always been happy with their work and I love that you can book an appt online. I saw Dana today and she was so amazing and I also see Noom! The salon is very cute and extremely clean. I’ve never left disappointed. I highly recommend!!!
