In town from Chicago in desperate need of a nail tech & LIAM ate up my short gel french tip set! Literally from the shaping to the base color to the actual FRENCH TIP!!!! It was a one & done no constant cleaning up of the French! He got it right the very first time from top to bottom! Pricing super affordable as well. Liam I love you down!!! THE ONLY GOOD NAIL SALON IN IOWA CITY! they always pay so much attention to little details that other salons don't even care to fix. they fixed some really botched nails i got from another salon and even lowered the price a bit for me. they're always so nice and they do the best nail art ive seen in the city! 100% recommend, this is the only salon i'll go to! been going here for 6 years. ***FIRST PHOTO IS THE NAILS THAT ANOTHER SALON DID, SECOND PHOTO IS HOW THEY FIXED IT!!***

I absolutely love Secret Nails. I relocated to Iowa 7 yrs ago and I’ve been looking for a place I could go that would give me professionalism, quality, good conversation, and an overall clean environment. I’ve been searching for 6 yrs and right before hitting my 7th year I went to Secret Nails and was totally blown away. Secret Nails is the truth!!!

I’ve been a client of this salon for over a year and have consistently had positive experiences. I truly appreciate the quality of work each technician delivers, as well as the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I often receive compliments on my nails and never hesitate to recommend this salon. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I had a disappointing experience with Liam. I had scheduled a fill and gel manicure for my mother and I, but upon realizing the team seemed short on time and acknowledging that I was 20 minutes late I offered to reschedule her appointment for another day to ease the timing. When I expressed that Liam seemed to be rushing and was a bit rough with my nails, I was met with an unprofessional response. Instead of acknowledging the situation, he attributed the issue solely to my tardiness. I want to clarify that I usually arrive on time for my appointments, and on several occasions, I’ve waited up to 10 minutes to be seen without ever raising a concern. While I fully take responsibility for being late, I also believe I approached the situation with flexibility and understanding. However, the way it was handled today felt unfair and uncharacteristic of the service I’ve come to expect from this salon

The products they use are great quality! It's been two weeks since I got my nails done and they are intact. The gel hasn't peeled off, which for two weeks it surprises me. Can't wait to get my nails done again! Plus, they are always so nice and kind. I definitely recommend this place!
