L'amour Nail Care

I will say that I really liked this salon for its cleanliness and the people that are usually at the front are kind. However I have been trying to ignore some customer service flaws that are more consistent than not. I will start by saying if you go to the salon, ask for Long. He shapes nails well and works fast! I had a favorite pedi person who I went to twice but this last time asked could they just tell her to do a polish change instead of a full pedi because my feet were still soft and instead of doing that, she decided to take a different client (even though I had an appointment with her) and intentionally ignore me. Usually she goes out of her way to offer a hug I never asked for. Sad part is I was gonna let my usual pedi price be her tip. Long took over and did a great job as usual so no complaints with him. I had different male tech who did my walk in (Long wasn’t there) and never spoke to me once, despite me saying hi first. I had a lady who did a walk in and acted like she didn’t want to touch my hands. I’m always polite and I tip well but unfortunately will go somewhere else seeing as this location has so so customer service. However if you choose this place, choose Long!

Just came in for a quick manicure. Had about 2cm growth on my natural nails. (In pretty good shape at least they were.) No polish. Wanted shaping and cuticles then clear polish. I have never received such a terrible manicure in my life. The girl was very sweet and friendly but if it wasn’t her first day on the job I would be surprised. Not even convinced she is licensed. Every nail is more jagged and uneven than when I walked in. I feel like the pics are more of an example of a before but these are very much the after. I’m sure there are better technicians at this salon but there is definitely one terrible one.

This is my first time going to this salon. The receptionist helped me pick out the brown color and then I decided to add the black tip at the last minute. The nail tech was very nice and patient. He did a beautiful job and even recommended using a different primer to reduce my risk of itchy nails (that sometimes happens). I am a happy customer. ☺️

I will always go here, Very welcoming, very friendly nail techs. I always go for a full set of acrylics and the price is always in the cheaper side but for great quality nails that last me weeks. Never had a nail chip or break.

Went in two days ago for a manicure and pedicure before my bridal shower. During the pedicure, the tech scraped my feet so hard I physically recoiled and told her it hurt. Got regular polish. Sign on the middle dryer table says it takes 1.5 hours for polish to fully dry. I waited 3 hours before putting heels on (my wedding heels mind you) and the nail polish completely peeled off both big toes on both feet. The polish is now stuck in the inside of my heels. Manicure was just as bad. One day later everything was cracked and flaking off. I called after my bridal shower and asked what could be done and was told over the phone to come in and that they ALWAYS fix it. I was guaranteed that they would fix both. Walked in today and spoke to two “managers” who told me that regular polish takes “forever” to dry and that there are no guarantees. I even told them what their sign said and they did not care. They did offer to fix my two toes but I could legitimately do better at home so I’ll be taking my nail care elsewhere from here on out. **RESPONSE TO OWNER** Your response continues to be unprofessional. Over 500 people have seen this review and people will continue to see this review. Do better. No one should pay $70 in this economy to receive the poor work that I received.
