Art Of Nails

I came here on a whim because I frequent the Daisy Chain Coffee Shop and I wanted someplace in the East Village to get my nails done because it would be convenient. They have gained a loyal customer because of the quality of their work and their great customer service. My favorite manicure is the jewel tone cat’s eye nail polish and I have gotten multiple comments on them every time. I definitely recommend.

Best nail experience I have had in a while! Just moved here from Dallas and I was looking for a nail tech and Thip was amazing! She was the best “therapist” I’ve had in a long time lol Prices were great and my nails came out perfect! I’ve found my new forever home!

I’m not from here so I was nervous trying a new place but they were super welcoming and offered me something to drink. I felt bad I didn’t have an appointment but they found time for me. My nails turned out perfect and the pedicure was amazing. I think Jackie was the woman who did my pedicure. She recommended some places for me to visit and it was honestly so nice talking to her. If you’re looking for somewhere to go, definitely check them out! Thank you both!

I called to book an express pedicure, which I have had here many times before. No one on the phone mentioned that they didn’t have those anymore. I get there and realize that there’s new management. There is only one person working and she says it’ll be 40 minutes after my appointment time before she’s done with the person she’s working on. And the affordable Express Pedi is no longer an option.

I was nervous to go under new ownership as I was a longtime patron of the previous ones. But I am so happy to say that Art of Nails remains my favorite nail place in Des Moines, hands-down! The new owner is incredibly friendly, kind and excellent at what she does. The prices are very reasonable and the massage chairs are the same as before if thats also important to you lol book your appointment now!!!
