Princess Nails & Head Spa

I done my nails with Julia. She is very friendly and polite. I give 10/10 for my nail session. She makes the environment so comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, my nails look too good , I really appreciate your work and definitely visit next time. Thank you 😇

came here for the first time December 12th for a pedicure and shellac nails. I needed a short notice appt so I called at 11.am and they could get me in quickly for 11:30 which was convenient for me. I got my pedicure first then got my nails done by another girl and right away she was very rushy with the drill drilling way to hard on my nails and going way to fast the drill was hitting my skin. I kindly asked her to be careful and take her time. She said i am a fast worker. I said yes but please be carful with my skin with the drill. She seemed annoyed at me and she didn’t listen she kept being rushy and the way she was grabbing my hands in a rude and harsh way. She brushed my skin with the drill again hard and I said actually I think I will just go with the pedicure. She said “no no you can trust me you think I’m going rough but I’m not. Don’t worry I will make sure your nails look good” she really was being too rough I should have just said no I only want the pedicure and left but theres my lesson. I initially wanted French tips but the way she was handling my nails and already rushing. I let her know before she started painted that instead of French tips I’ll just do solid white to match my toes. I thought that was a safer bet as French tips require a good artist who takes there time with the design. I didn’t feel I would get that from her She was about to put the color on and I asked her if she could use the same exact nail polish she used on my toes. The polish was called “white fur” she rolls her eyes and says I have white here this is white but it wasn’t the same shade of white as there are many different shades and types of whites in nail polish I asked her again if she can get the same one used for my toes. She storms off to grab the polish and talks loudly in her language to the other nail artists im assuming she wasn’t saying anything nice. That made me so uncomfortable.. She then proceeds to paint a nail without a base coat. I asked her if she could put on a base coat and instead of just saying yes she said “you don’t need one” I been getting my nails done for years you’re supposed to put a base coat on to prep the surface, & ensure smooth application. She said “you get the base coat for your toes but not for your nails because there not your real nails but okay I’ll do a base coat then” she raised her voice people in the salon were looking. her attitude and the way she was talking to me was so unacceptable and made me feel really bad. When we were done I went to pay and another employee didn’t address anything she just told me she’s going to give me a 5% discount on a 138 dollar bill which came to 132. A 5% discount for this and the way I was treated? I encourage you to reconsider going to this salon and choose a different salon I recommend Encore Nails in Clayton park the salon I usually go to it was my mistake for choosing a random salon I never should of came here.

They are so accommodating to my busy schedule and short term notice, every set I get I leave 100% happy with what I received. So incredibly positive there and welcoming. Thank you for your hard work and talent!

Wonderful experience with the Princess Nails and Head Spa in Bedford. I was pampered with extreme care today from the moment I walked in until I left. I tried the head spa for the first time. Being 9 months pregnant I was worried about being on my back for too long. But Rose handled me with care, she propped some pillows under me and checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole service. She was so sweet and caring. I also had a pedicure done today as well. Trucy was top notch, her attention to detail was wonderful and she gave an excellent massage. I tacked on the candle wax massage at the end which was divine. She too was wonderful and checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole appointment. I will definitely be returning to these ladies in the future. Thank you again to Julia and her team for making this mama feel so relaxed and taken care of!

I was here today to get my nails done. I wanted a full set of gel nails. I knew something was different because they weren’t using the light like they usually do with the gel nails. I was told I was getting gel nails, but the gel would come when the colour was put on. The price I paid was for acrylic nails, not gel. I noticed that when I went back and checked the prices. Also, I asked for my nails to stay straight until at the very end to be more like quiuobal shaped. when I noticed the lady trimming the size of my nails and indenting them a little bit, I said something because I didn’t want them tapered. She kept telling me they were straight and she was a professional. They look fine just not what I paid for. I like my nails to go to the edges of my fingernail and not have them tapered before the end of my finger because i I don’t like that look as it looks like they missed a spot. I was not impressed when she kept telling me that my nails were shaped like the picture. They obviously weren’t. I found a picture of a nail shape that I liked and a picture of the nail color. The nail colour was right, but the shape was wrong. I must look really blind and stupid. The picture of the green nail with the design is the shape that I wanted and the other pictures Are the design I wanted and my nails after they were finished. I didn’t say anything about this part but one thing I did notice was with the lady used the buffer block on me to buffer my nails. I could tell that somebody else’s nail residue was on that block. She’s obviously used it for a few clients before me. I don’t think that’s very sanitary. I’m very disappointed and I won’t be back.
