More than a review. A story. Yes, I am a guy and yes, I get pedicures. They sat me and then a female employee asked if I minded a man doing my pedicure. I do not, whoever is available. Another 5 minutes and the lady next to me that was getting her own pedicure looked at one of the employees doing a manicure and said "You were right, he's fantastic!" About 3 minutes later and the same person, who I learned is named Alan, started doing my pedi. Now I have flat feet that result in arch tightness and on one foot I have a stress fracture from an decades long injury. Alan found both and with skilled deep tissue massage, he made them vanish, spending probably 5 to 10 minutes of the pedi doing just this part. When I am sitting or going to sleep, I sometimes get cramps in my feet and always in the one with the stress fracture, just something one lives with. Well, I was a solid 2 weeks without cramps and it's all thanks to Alan. I will be back and I will be asking for Alan.

Won’t be back. I have trouble biting my nails so he was working with NUBS so I had to knew I had to give some grace. First off the space was not cleaned after each person, he cut my cuticles off over top of the container that holds the tips😵‍💫 and was just constantly wiping all remains and dust to the floor and never once did I see someone sweep. Once tips were painfully pressed on he filed like it was an actual saw, I was in worse pain than any tattoo I’ve ever had🥲. Very fast and harsh process. Asked him to do this pink design but in blue, he said I can do for $45. I thought sweet! He did ONE very light coat you can barely see and charged me $85!!! EIGHTY FIVE DOLLARS! I have NEVER paid this much EVER! My friend got a pedicure and said they used the toe dividers then put them back in a drawer to reuse🤮. Will never be coming back. Do not recommend.

My new favorite nail salon! Iris is my nail tech and her nail art is beautiful crafted and she’s a very talented lady. Another thing I will add is I look for comfortable when getting my nails done, she is extremely gentle on your nails. Over all I highly recommend Fancy Nail and Salon in Troy Ohio!

Iris and Kim are the queens of the salon. Always do an amazing job and I will never go anywhere else! Always a great beautiful set!

I went the other day and got a pedicure and a full set. My pedicure was great except the lady didn’t do exactly what I wanted, being nail techs you’d think they’d be able to tell gloss and rough apart. I’ll come here to get a pedicure, because they have the good callous remover tool, but after how I was treated yesterday, I don’t know. The shorter younger gentleman started my nails. I don’t like the stilletto tips because they are super thin. He used those on me, and I seen the person who did my nieces nails used a different style tip, and we got the same exact shape nail. As he was doing them he put one of the tips on crooked. I’m sorry, I’M PAYING FOR THESE, not you guys and you really overprice, but anyways when he cut it down it was lopsided and I said something and he acted like he was going to continue with the process. I said something again and he huffed and puffed but had me soak it off. Then when he was doing the acrylic I was looking to see how thick they were. They weren’t terribly too bad, but one I could bend the tip. I mentioned that THAT NAIL (NOT ALL) was just a little thin. He acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about then Kim came over and snatched my hand and asked what’s wrong. I mean, WE are the paying customers and for you to get mad about the service we’re receiving as a customer is crazy. But she snatched my hand and said if you want thick you need to tell them thick at the beginning. They weren’t that thin, it was just ONE NAIL I said something about. So with attitude she put a glob and I mean a glob of acrylic on ALL of my nails. I only said something about ONE. I’m a welder and I work with heavy metal car parts, AND I’ve taken cosmetology before so I know how you’re supposed to treat your customers and their requests, ESPECIALLY if THEY ARE PAYING FOR YOUR SERVICE. And I know how I like my nails. My nails are super think now and I DO NOT like them. And got charged for soaking off gel on my toes when they could’ve just grinded it off like any other nail salon would’ve done. The glitter and the white tip is cute, but $10 dollars extra because I wanted French??? Don’t get me wrong Kim does great on nails, but yesterday I felt so disrespected, and my niece noticed they were being rude to me too. I don’t know if I’ll be back or not.
