How Nails & Spa

The first two pictures were when I first got them done which was horrible, the second two pictures are when they fixed them for me after I complained. Although they fixed them and even through in a free mini manicure for my toddler, I don’t believe I will be returning.

I've been looking for a nail salon since moving to WV years ago. I am particular about it and would always opt to just get my nails done back home. I decided to try How Nails for a spa self care day. I have already gone back again because I really enjoyed the experience. They are very thorough and do a wonderful job. Both times I've been in an out in about an hour. This is my new go to place!

SUCH a good experience, i got gel X nails for 50$!!!! so cheap and they were very good quality! super easy to bus to, will be back!!!

I’ve never been here before today, and I will never go back!! I called in advance to make sure i could get my eyebrows done and they assured me i could. When I walk in the place is filthy as if children had been running around all day; because they were. I understand it says “kid friendly” but you can still clean up after them because it is “kid friendly”. I almost sat on a broken and sharp mechanical pencil top. They call me back and the chair is nice, but the tech is on FaceTime and set up the phone with me in the camera view, and is completely ignoring me. I waved to the lady and made a “what are you doing” face in the camera so maybe the women doing my eyebrows would get the hint that i did not want to be shown on the call, but no. I was In the frame for the duration of the call. I wish I got the techs name but i was so irritated I didn’t ask. The tech hasn’t even noticed i have an eyebrow piercing because she was on the phone with her back towards me not giving me any mind. She got wax all over my piercing and didn’t attempt to clean it at all, and when I said I didn’t want to take it out and i even asked if she could work around it because people have before. she just made an annoyed face at me and said “that’s fine” A little boy ran into the room, twice. Just very unprofessional. Just to top it all off she was super rough and my eye lid is TORN i would leave a photo but i don’t know how!!! I understand when a business sees someone younger than 25 they tend to disregard us, but it was so disrespectful. Maybe if we got treated with a little respect you would get a big girl tip!! but instead you you see a younger person and assume we aren’t going to tip well and treat us like trash; so we tip like trash in the end! and then leave bad reviews!!!
