Modern Nails

I’m from out of town. And we are used to everyone in my city, knowing how to do nails. Literally there’s a nail shop on every single corner. So I was a bit worried when I couldn’t find a spot in downtown Indianapolis, that didn’t accept walk-ins. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I want to say that this place left my nails on Fleek. They are amazing!!!!! I am extremely happy and satisfied with the way that my nails look. The girl that did my nails I did not get her name. But she’s in- I believe number two up against the wall in the front. Front spot, Far left against the wall. Good job! I had an acrylic refill with shellac polish.

I scheduled an appointment and had to wait about 20 minutes after I got there. But I got sat down with Lee and he did a fantastic job! Definitely worth the wait. They’re all super nice, and I love that they offer free drinks for their customers.

This place is so great!! They have such great service and they are super nice! They always ask if I want a drink which is great!!! I always ask for Kyle because he does so great. He did the nails that are in the picture. I asked him to change around some stuff last minute and he did it no problem!

I absolutely LOVE coming to Modern Nails! I have been a few times for a full set of acrylic nails, fills, and designs (for less than $50). All of the nail techs that have done my nails have been amazing, but Shawn really outdone himself. This is my favorite set yet. Everyone is so professional, so very kind, and they make you feel so welcome as soon as you walk through the door. They even offer me a drink when i come in! All in all, this is the only place i will come to have my nails done. I live in Crawfordsville, but Modern Nails in Lebanon is absolutely worth the drive. Definitely 10 stars!!!

If I could put a 0 I would. I walked in with my friend for her to get her nails done. The girl that greeted us asked if I was getting my nails done. I told her I don’t think I am considering I had a movie to go to in 2 hours. She insisted and said she would get me in the chair first. (Money happy). I agreed and thought that was very sweet. Until she did them in a rush. They were the thickest nails i have ever seen. She rushed with the polish. They looked awful. They were as thick as a book. She even knew it as well considering she told me to come back if anything looked messy.( This happened yesterday). It comes today and I call her and ask her about my options considering she did tell me to call her if it looked bad. I asked for a refund or a new set. She immediately had a bad attitude with me and it made me not want to get them done at all. She told me over the phone to come when I have time being sarcastic, and called me back saying she told me to “come in 10 minutes and when it passed 2 minutes later she didn’t see me walking through the door.”. Just being rude. I come in in person asking for my money back. Before I could even talk this gentleman named Shawn. Started telling me they weren’t a mechanic and I can’t come and go and get the “parts” back since i didn’t like the new parts. At this point I just walked out crying. In anger. Sadness. I didn’t know how to feel because i have always been a costumer here. Not that losing me is doing anything to their business, but i definitely wouldn’t recommend going her. Despite all the good reviews. This one definitely adds up on top for me. Dont go here if you don’t want to get disrespected when something goes wrong on their end.
