QT Nails

Well….This was my first visit to QT Nails. I have been searching for a quality salon to which I would be a patron of for the foreseeable future. I struck out in Plainfield by Sally’s, Avon by Kroger as well as several others closer to home which is about 45 minutes away from Hendricks county. I honestly thought QT was the one. I even got a quote for my next visit as I am traveling out of state for my birthday in a few weeks. The price was fair that was quoted to me. I waited a minimal amount of time, the salon was quite clean and busy which made me feel pretty confident that the quality must be great for it to be so busy. The technician that did my nails was polite and seemed to understand my requests. I got a fill in with gel polish and an accent nail of another color with no design. The price was fair. However, I am extremely concerned about the quality of my service. Less than 5 hours after leaving, my index finger nail on my right hand broke, I specifically asked for the thickness of the acrylic to not be thin. I also requested a matte top coat. The texture of my nails is streaky and not smooth. My daughter who is a secretary at an upscale salon in Muncie was able to repair the nail with glue to hopefully last at least til I am able to get it repaired tomorrow. I’m so discouraged by this experience. I don’t quite understand how the quality of service never holds up to the prices at now any of the salons I’ve been to while on the search for a salon I want to go to on a regular basis. I have been getting my nails done for years and have had so many disappointing outcomes as of late. I feel like I have paid more than enough to receive at least acceptable service. Over all the experience of the environment of the salon was great, which is another reason I expected the services I received to be top notch. If you decide to visit QT Nails I highly suggest not only making sure your requests are clearly explained so that you don’t have a similar experience with the quality I have had but to also make sure before leaving the salon expressing if you are displeased with the outcome of the services received. Sadly, I don’t foresee myself returning to QT Nails in the future as it is 45 minutes away from home and disappointing as far as the service itself being lack luster, which is extremely disappointing considering my being on the hunt for a salon I could count on and frequent in the future.

2nd time at this salon I thought I found my new nail place but unfortunately I think I won't be back. 1st time I went was incredible. Nail tech was friendly and sweet. She did a great job. But my second time back today and I'm just upset. The guy who did my nails looked upset when I asked him to round them to almond instead of stiletto. He also sliced my finger with file accidentally but after I said it burned he continued to not avoid where I was cut. The nails overall are thick and not cleanly done how'd l'd like. I was happy with the almond oval shape he did but when I left was when I really saw how bad they were done. My mom got hers done with me and the nail tech she had did amazing on her. She was very happy but unfortunately I think I'll order some supplies off Amazon and redo them myself at this point. $45 for fill & $5 for almond shape.

QT Nails is truly amazing! Everyone is so professional and accommodating. I love the vibes whenever I am there, and I always leave feeling pampered! I will not go any other salon! Thank you Quyen for being so great!

Queen and henna took care of me in a VIP way! I can’t write enough of how they make me feel, I felt so relaxed and my nails looks so pretty and my pedicure too, they have a pumpkin therapy going on for your feet that you will love! If I could give 100000 stars I’ll but google only give me 5 lol! Best place to have a nice time, the place is so clean and fancy! 💖
