Studio 718 Hair Salon

I was hesitant to leave a review because I’m sure my experience is unique, and the owner seems lovely, but way too much of my hair was cut off than was necessary or than was shown to me. I use heat on my hair maybe 1-2x a year with straightening. No blow drying. No diffusion. My hair is healthy. Last had a trim a few months ago. I was told that length would be retained and only an inch and a half or so would be taken off. I walked out with about 4-5in shorter hair overall length with additional layers. Hair that went well down my back now is a few inches above my bra strap. My hair curls, so the reduction in length when I washed and let it curl is even more pronounced than it was when I walked out with it semi-straight. I think she didn’t realize that I had long layers prior so she thought that my hair was uneven length, cut all my hair to my shortest prior layers and then added more layers on top. Wanted to love the salon, but I doubt I’ll be coming back.

This was my first time at Studio and my very first visit to an esthetician, and I’m so thankful Taylor referred me to Trista! She made the entire experience amazing. From the moment I arrived, Trista made me feel completely comfortable and was constantly checking in to make sure I was doing okay. I loved my first appointment so much that I came back for a chemical peel, and once again, she explained the whole process beforehand and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I’ll definitely be back to see her again—and I’ve already recommended her to several friends!

Omg, Chelsea did such an amazing job. I haven’t had my hair done in over 8 years and after having 3 babies I definitely started to not care about what it looked like. I decided that I wanted to change that and make an appointment and I AM SO HAPPY!!! I feel amazing. Chelsea took her time with me and really gave me her best! I am more than grateful for her and beyond happy I took the opportunity to get my hair done with her today! Thank you Chelsea 😍

Best experience ever! My first time getting bangs and Gwen killed it!! I will recommend going to her, she listened to what I wanted and was so easy going. I was anxious going in but her personality helped make me comfortable.Will go back again!

First time here… for a consult and cut! Lori was amazing she was thorough and shared some excellent advice. I really wanted to get a loose body wave/perm but she helped me to understand what would happen if I did and the outcome would have been horrific! She taught me how to take care of my hair and keep the length! I’m so glad she was honest! I’ve been to a lot of salons over the years and walked out hating the experience.
