Nail Goddesses

I really liked the nice, relaxing environment at this nail salon—it was very welcoming. When I called at 4:54 pm, the friendly lady on the phone told me the wait would be about 30 minutes, which was no problem as i was going to be a walk in. I walked in at 5:03 pm and signed in. However, I wasn’t actually seated until closer to 6:23 pm, and I was assigned to a technician, Jackie, who was absolutely the sweetest! The only issue was that I wasn’t informed about her being NEW NEW, so the nail process took much longer than I expected (I wanted short/minimal design) —I thought I’d be done by 7:30 pm but didn’t leave until 8:38 pm. Also, I chose a purple color (as shown), but ended up with a bright Barbie-pink shade instead. After the first coat, I mentioned the color was wrong, and Jackie said the second coat would fix it, but unfortunately, it didn’t (you can see in the photo). On top of that, my nails came out in different shapes. I had asked for a squoval shape, but they looked more like coffin nails. Jackie did notice and tried to fix it, and even offered to stay late to correct everything, but I was tired and just wanted to go home. I scheduled a follow-up appointment the next day at 5:15 pm to fix the color. The day of my follow up appt, I got out of work at 4:10 pm and was going to be about 5 minutes late, so I called ahead to notify them but couldn’t reach anyone. I left a voicemail requesting a call back to confirm if the slight delay was okay or if we needed to reschedule, but I never heard back. In the end, I did not get to go back to fix the nails, and I was charged $46. My nails fell off about 5 days later with ease and without pain. While the atmosphere and Jackie’s kindness were great, the overall service experience wasn’t what I hoped for. I wanted to support a local Weslaco nail tech, but unfortunately, I wasn’t satisfied with how things went.

Okay, I’ll be honest… I was so impressed with Nail Goddesses that I actually created a second Google account just to leave another 5-star review. Yes, it was that good. The level of care, precision, and professionalism they showed while treating my wife was something you don’t come across often. They turned what was meant to be a simple surprise into a full-on experience — calm atmosphere, kind staff, flawless nail work, and smiles all around. My wife left feeling like a queen, and I left wondering why I don’t write more reviews like this. But hey — when the service is this amazing, it deserves all the praise (and accounts) I can give! Thank you, Nail Goddesses — keep being incredible. See you again soon!

Excellent experience/ environment. Calm and relaxing. Almond shape manicure. Lovely red to complement my skin tone perfectly. Ellie is always so professional. No pain whatsoever. She gave me great advice to maintain my manicure. And said they are the only salon that guarantees their work for 6 days. I may go the day of my nieces 15 birthday celebration for Ellie to check them for me.

Lilian IS THE NAIL GODDESS! I’ve been going to her for years now as she’s the only person I will ever allow to do my services. Tony her husband is actually just as wonderful which is a high praise with the legend herself! So incredibly happy she finally opened her own shop! It’s the most beautiful and innovative nail salon I’ve ever seen. It’s so beautiful inside, organized, places for husbands to relax, entertainment, refreshments and the atmosphere is perfect. Such a beautiful energy in this place. If you need your nails done, look no further. She is the best anywhere!!!!!!!!

I was a walk in and had no problem getting service. The young ladies were very friendly and great experience. They did an awesome job. I definitely will come back when in town.
