Blooming Nails in Honolulu, Hawaii

I had my first nail art gel manicure at Blooming Nails and it was a wonderful experience! My nail tech was Ryan and he was incredibly meticulous as he perfectly copied the nail art inspo I shared with him! He perfected each line and corrected any small imperfection so my nails were exactly what I wanted. After 1.5 hours of work, my nails were only $78.50! I was more than impressed by the quality of work and the price. Thank you, Ryan!! I can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely beautiful! Arrived from Seattle, I called them last minute and they were able to fit me in. She did a beautiful job 🥰💅🏽. Def come to Blooming Nails. Atmosphere was vibing ☺️🤌🏽.

Amazing experience! Everyone was super friendly and the nail artist, Stacey, had done a great job on my nails. She stayed an hour after closing to finish my nails, even after I offered to pay and come back later. I will be coming back every time !

This was the messiest manicure I’ve ever gotten for $68. I’ve been super busy and haven’t had time to get my nails done in a while. I came here an hour before close and they happily took me in. I regret this as they were probably rushed and I also felt bad for their time/didn’t properly inspect them until after I paid at the counter. All 10 nails are covered in bubbles and the shape/length is inconsistent on a couple nails. She attempted to file the bubbles down after final coat was applied/cured and then swipe color over the bare spots and pop them back in the lamp, but it couldn’t fix it. They’re covered. At that point of noticing this at payment, it was 15 min after closing- so I wasn’t gonna kick up a fuss over imperfections when they squeezed me in kindly. However I am now annoyed as it hasn’t even been 4 days and the gel is already chipping. I wish they would’ve turned me away. I’ve been getting gel manicures for months at other salons and they haven’t chipped on me even when I’ve left them to grow out for 3+ weeks. So I’m not sure if it’s poor application, product, lamps, etc. Or maybe all 3. It’s weird because reviews and other photos posted for this salon are great, so maybe it was a bad night. Just sharing my honest experience.

Very unsatisfied with the service I received from this place. I purchased the 50$ pedicure which included the callus removal. Which I desperately needed and was the sole purpose of why I came to the shop. My feet were not wrapped or soaked before the worker began to remove the callus. She placed the callus softener on the soles of my feet and expected the callus to come off right away when she used the grater. The lotions and cooling gels were all placed on my legs and not my feet. My feet weren’t massaged at all. I honestly got the feeling like the women just didn’t want to touch my feet because they are not beautiful. But isn’t that the whole reason women come to nail salons? So they can beautify you feet and nails?? Meanwhile my daughter got her nails done and the design that was made was done very sloppy and the underneath of her nails were not smoothed down. I was charged 83bucks for the each of us. I was supposed to have got my nails done but I decided not to waste any more time or money on this place. In total I was there for about 2 hours and I had only had a pedicure.. imagine that. BIG THUMBS DOWN FOR ME.
