Ann’s Spa & Nails at Lagoon

I’ve been coming to Ann’s since they opened and I cannot recommend them enough! I was never a ‘regular’ at a nail salon but once I found Tracy, I don’t miss a single appointment. She is so talented and will take every design I show her and bring it to life! The salon is always clean and the staff is excellent at what they do. I’ve tried all of their services and they’re so kind when I see them every three weeks. If you’re looking for a trusted nail salon, this is spot and make sure to ask for Tracy ☺️

I did my nails here yesterday for the first time, and I was so excited—until I ended up with the wrong nail tech. I asked for shorter, coffin-style creamy white nails and even showed her a picture from Google as a reference. She nodded, pretending to understand exactly what I wanted. As she started cleaning my nails, she began asking questions about me and my life, which I actually enjoyed at first. Then, out of nowhere, she started recommending something called “nice gel,” saying it was better for me. I thought all nail colors were gel, so I was confused. Because of the language barrier, I asked her to repeat herself, but I still couldn’t understand what she meant. While applying layer after layer, she kept putting my hands under the UV light—five to seven times each! I told her my hands were burning, and I didn’t want to keep putting them back, but she insisted. I had to pull my hands out several times because the pain and burning were unbearable. I couldn’t understand why I was being stressed out over something that was supposed to be relaxing. All I wanted were beautiful nails for my best friend’s wedding. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. I barely slept last night because my nails were still burning and irritated. I even rescheduled my flight just so I could come back today to have them removed and let my nails breathe. When I asked for a refund, the front desk told me they couldn’t refund the full service—even though I paid a lot for nails I didn’t want and that caused me pain. Honestly, it’s not about the money. I can afford it; I live a good, comfortable life. But it’s the principle. No customer should have to suffer from poor service and be treated like their comfort doesn’t matter. Now I am traumatised! 😭🤮🫨 In the end, I just remind myself—God is good. I may have had a bad experience, but I’m still blessed, happy, and grateful for the life I live. 😇💅✨

[SINCE POSTING, ANNIE MY STYLIST HAS MOVED ACROSS THE STREET TO 5th Nail Lounge!!] Took a huge leap of faith trying Ann’s Spa & Nails and I’m so glad I did! I had been going to the same nail salon since 2016/2017 — our nail lady Mimi basically became family. She knew me, my mom, and my two younger sisters. For years, I’d drive an hour south every month just to keep seeing her because a good pedicure is serious to me! But with my mom moving closer to me, I couldn’t keep justifying the long drive for a quick service anymore (time is money, right?). So when I saw the grand opening of Ann’s Spa & Nails only 3 minutes from my new house, I decided to take a chance — after reading lots of Google reviews, of course. Everyone kept mentioning Annie, saying they followed her from her previous salon, so I knew I had to book with her. Now I fully understand why. She’s so sweet, accommodating, and really listens to what you want. You can tell she’s a perfectionist — the attention to detail she puts into her work is amazing. I told her right away she gained a loyal client today — I’ll definitely be back! Even though I feel a little guilty for leaving Mimi behind, an hour drive for a 45-minute pedicure is just too much. I’m so relieved to have found my new go-to spot right in my neighborhood. If you’re on the fence — trust the reviews and book with Annie. She’s worth it!

I have been going here for about 3 months now. Tracy is a great nail tech. She never disappoints. I have naturally long nails and she takes good care of them. She doesn’t complain about doing my long nails which I like because my last tech would tell me her hands cramped up from doing my nails. I also like the fact that they have sparkling wine and not just red and white wine. I would definitely recommend Tracy and Ann’s Nails.

I’ve always had good experiences at Ann’s Spa and Nails, but Tracy is my go-to. She’s very nice, pays attention, and actually listens to what you want. My nails always come out clean and cute, and she never rushes. The whole place is super comfortable too. I’m definitely sticking with her.😁
