Siesta Nails and Spa

This is one of the best nails salons near Siesta Key. I’ve never made an appointment or had to wait for a manicure or pedicure. They have so many colors and can do just about any style you want for your nails. I posted this particular pic just to remind others to snap a pic of the name of the color so if you love it, you can find it again. Today’s color for the holidays??? None other than “”Red Ferrari”!!! The color did not disappoint. Took me something like 30 minutes to find this perfect shade of red. I had both my toes and nails done at once with two technicians as I’m not a fan of the “pampering” process. I absolutely love that they accommodate me this way to get my nails done as fast as possible…and colored to perfection thank you 😀

I’ve been to Siesta Nails three times now. When my regular salon can’t fit me in, this is usually where I go for a same-day appointment. Every experience had been fine — until now. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the worst gel manicure and pedicure I have ever received. While the nail tech was very kind, she should not be doing nails. Her work was sloppy and lacked any attention to detail. I was too shy to say anything directly, but I did tell the receptionist that I was unhappy with the service. The technician overheard and tried to fix her mistakes, but even after a second attempt, the manicure was still awful. When I checked out, I was asked if it was better — I said no — and was told I could come back the next day to have it fixed. The problem is, there were so many issues. To put it nicely, she painted far outside the lines and completely destroyed my cuticles. I actually cried in my car afterward. When I got home, my husband was shocked by how bad my nails looked. He even called the salon to speak with the owner, whose only solution was for me to come back so he could “personally take care of it.” Why would I return after voicing my dissatisfaction twice and then having the owner argue with my husband on the phone? It’s now been just over three hours since my appointment, and the gel is already chipping on multiple nails — on top of the uneven polish and thick, messy finish. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and strongly recommend choosing a different salon in the Sarasota area.

This was my first time coming here! I went to see Steven because he was recommended by a friend and he was AMAZING. I came in unsure what type of nails I wanted to do and he was so kind and recommended liquid gel, never had this before but he did an incredible job! They look so natural and he did my design exactly how I wanted! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will definitely be coming back!! Highly recommend Steven

Consider this a public service announcement ladies, apparently some men who become nail techs have a finger fetish. I had a bad hang nail, and came here to have it taken care of professionally. I'm a male, and two male techs who didn't have any customers, or appointments during the duration of my visit refused to serve me. They both loudly refused to take me as a client, made fun of me, and one loudly proclaimed "This is not why I became a nail tech!" They passed me off to this older lady who I genuinely think is blind. I waited over 10 minutes for them to get her from the back, they went in the back for her 3 times before she came out. She walked off once before she finished doing my nails. She burned one of my fingers very bad, and made it bleed it took over 10 days to heal. She put clear over one of a jagged nail that she didn't finish trimming. And she never soaked my hands. All this, and the guy working up front still charged me the full $25. I've paid $15 nearby for great service. I will never be back to Siesta Nail, which from their rude comments is what I think they wanted from the beginning. The next time I go to the nail salon that charges me $15, I'm buying the nail tech lunch in addition to her tip.

I got my nails done TWO DAYS a go and the GEL paint that I paint for started chipping off THE NEXT DAY. Now here we are 48 hrs and $55 dollars later and this is what I get! The first couple times I went was alright but this is absolutely ridiculous. A waste of my money!! Update to Owneres Respone! No!!! You were NOT busy. I came in and was seated right away. There were also several employees sitting at their stations on their phones. It’s called unprofessional! A partial refund would be more appropriate. Why would I come back to allow yall to play with my nails even more!!!
