2025-06-30This was a real bummer. I read reviews around town and this place had the best. We’re on vacation and the anxiety made me chew and pick at my own nails. I thought “I’m on vacation I’m going to go get them done.” I’m a license cosmetologist so I normally do them myself but I don’t have any of my stuff with me. Figured I’d treat myself. I typically do a rubber gel overlay. I asked for just a full acrylic set. I’ve never used dip on myself as I don’t like to be locked into a color and that’s what was used but it was done with a brush like old normal acrylic. I don’t know. I assumed it would be done in clear like they used to. Wasn’t too worried about it until she was done and I was left with a bit of a mess. The very first question she asked was if I was from here or on vacation. I should’ve lied. It very much felt like she decided to then just shove me out the door since I was obviously not coming back anyway. The dip is full of bubbles. The top coat barely smoothed anything out. You can feel a texture to the nail. Residue all over my skin. Filed well into my own nails on the edges to the point they’re painful. I’ve now remembered why I don’t waste money getting my nails done and started doing them myself. Just really unfortunate since I never do this for myself and it just wasn’t worth it. I’m also almost certain I was overcharged.
