Chi Nails

I’ve always come here and never had a problem—until today. The young man who started on my nails began ripping my acrylics off, taking parts of my real nails with them. He was clearly rushing so he wouldn’t have to soak them and wait. As I tried to explain that it was hurting and even causing bleeding, he kept going until I finally told him no. He then started speaking to others in his language, and I had no idea what was happening. A lady eventually told me that another gentleman would take over. Thankfully, he did a very good job removing the remaining acrylics and was gentle and professional. I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back after this experience, but if I do, I definitely will not allow the younger man—who plays on his phone while doing nails—to work on my nails again.

Yesterday was my third visit. They seemed very confused on what to charge me. I asked my manicurist to trim my nails and just use clear polish. She cut them so far down, 6 are bleeding. Very painful today. Never going back!!!

Have visited Chi Nails a few times now- they're usually busy but work efficiently so the wait time is short. Friendly, detail-oriented techs. Fair price for acrylic nails ($55 base) and I'm always happy with the shape/thickness/durability.

The nails were actually really cute but during the process the guy who was doing them walked out the back of the shop and when my color dried a lady did the top coat... so those dried and I went to pay but then he came in the front of the shop and apologized and someone else got up and cashed me out finally. I was very confused but paid and left... however a week later my nail got injured on a door and had to go to the hospia and I had the acrylics removed... the picture shows just how deep the lady drilled into my real nail to get them off. I overall feel like there was a lot of carelessness handling my nails here. Just be aware what happened to me. Paid $50 + tip because they were overall nice when I first got them done, and I did love the color.
